Perfect retreat!
Our group had the best time here! The cabin has plenty of space for multiple families and a nice big common area with natural lit kitchen. Plenty of wildlife to see right on the deck!
This home was perfect for our family of ten. We loved the convenience to the slopes & the kids loved watching the deer in the yard & right up on the patio! House is roomy & well stocked with everything you need. Loved our time there.

Great time!
We had a great time last weekend! This house has lots of space and is great for multiple families and large groups. We had a great time skiing, and playing around the cabin. We will definitely be back!
We really loved our stay at this property. The only hiccup was we were told a day before arriving that we wouldn’t be able to use one bedroom and one bathroom, but the property manager was quick to communicate and remedy.

Quiet Cabin in the Woods
This was a nice, quiet cabin in the woods. It was clean and was well-equipped for cooking and eating for our large group. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch and the deck. The wildlife was abundant and the lake was only a quick walk down the road. We highly recommend.
We rented the property for a weekend with 6 adults and 5 children. There was more than enough room! We had a wonderful time! It was stocked with more than we needed! Enjoyed the porches and swings! Would definitely go back!

Rest and Relaxation
Needed rest and relaxation from all the craziness going on and it’s exactly what I got. Comfortable home in a beautiful setting. Deer in the yard every day. Set on the covered front porch and enjoyed the rain every afternoon. Best few days I have had in months.

Almost a five
What a perfect trip! The cabin was equipped with everything we could need. The room setup was perfect for us. The lake was super close. Some repairs are needed on the back deck and door handles and the mattresses were not very comfortable otherwise it would be a five!

Thank you for staying with us, Steve. We apologize for the issue you had with the deck and door handles. Our local staff is always available to assist you with any issues during your stay if we are notified. Your comments have been passed along to our local staff so they can work to address these concerns. We are sorry to hear that the beds were not well-suited to your sleeping preference. We will certainly keep your comments in mind when planning updates to the home. We look forward to hosting you again.
This property was exactly as described. Had plenty of seating, beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked. We lacked for nothing. We enjoyed sitting o the front and back porch watching the deer and hummingbirds. The covered porch was great during the rainstorms. We had plenty of room to spread out and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other while inside. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great house to rent for a big group or family
The house was very clean and all the information for the tenants was provided on the fridge which was very helpful. The house can get a little cold and needs constant burning of firewood. That’s normal considering Angelfire gets a lot of snow. The house was awesome and we left some items behind we had to go back for and everyone was nice and very helpful.

July 2020 Family Reunion
This house was perfect for our family reunion. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room for our entire family. The furniture was very cozy and the kitchen was fully stocked with whatever our needs were. The owners are absolutely delightful and wonderful folks who treat you like family and just want to make sure you have a great time. The deck was awesome to sit outside in the evenings enjoying the great outdoors and the perfect mountain air and surroundings. We are already looking forward to the next time we stay here. I would highly recommend if you are planning on coming to Angel Fire. You are only minutes away from walking to the lake and other hiking trails. Enjoyed every second!

Lovely place for a Family reunion
Plus: We enjoyed earby hikes for all skill levels. There were just enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. It had a well-stocked kitchen and a great layout of livingroom/dining room/kitchen. Minus (small): The bunk beds are not really adequate for adults. It would be good to have access to local management to respond to questions (like the dumping of trash) as there was no Home Manual in the House (apparently due to
COVID) and the Vacasa group is not aware of local resources. For example, there IS a tennis court within a 5 minute drive at the Angel Fire Country Club, which is open to the public.

Does NOT sleep 16
This sleeps 12 and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The remaining 4 "beds" were air mattresses and there is no place to put them. One was a full-size air bed which we had to keep in the living room, which was already too small to accommodate more than 9 people at a time. Overall, it was clean, warm and the kitchen well-stocked, but they should not advertise it for more than 12 people.

We are sorry to see you were unhappy with the beds; this came as a bit of a surprise since we haven't heard something like this before. There is 1 king, 2 queens, and 6 twin beds available in the house, and we do feel they are comfortable and of good quality. Thank you!
This property fit our family of 10 perfectly! Loved that all the bedrooms had a bathroom, and the bathrooms were fulled stocked with towels and toiletries. The living area and kitchen were large and accommodating and provided us with all the comforts from home. The large backyard deck was a nice surprise along with the swing set, deer corn and bird feed. We really appreciated the fans in all the rooms, but screens on the upstairs windows would have been nice. The location was exactly what we had hoped--close to the lake with all its activities.
The Wifi was very spotty and unreliable, but that could just be because it's in the mountains. Some of the furniture was oversized for office/desk area...it was difficult to move through the common space. Overall, this was a great house for our vacation. We would rent it again.
Thanks, Carol
We stayed in this house the same time last year. It’s a great house for a large extended family. The disappointment for us was that the door to the deck was locked with a key that required unlocking from the inside, making the door inaccessible, being that we were not provided a key. We were in contact with property mgmt, but they were unable to contact the owner, and they didn’t know where a key might be. One of our favorite things last year was sitting out there in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the wildlife. Obviously we weren’t able to do that this year without putting on shoes and traipsing through the yard to the other side of the house. I can’t imagine that having that door locked could possibly meet safety requirements. Also, the amenities list the “heated” patio (which again, was inaccessible through the door). The last 2 years there has not been propane in the tank for the heater, and I don’t think there’s any in the gas grill either. So either those need to be taken care of, or they probably shouldn’t be listed as perks for this house.
All this being said, we love this house. It works perfect for our group. The patio though…such a HUGE disappointment. Having that last year allowed for the early risers to hang out there without waking up the rest of the crew. Not so this year. The back deck is great too, but it’s uncovered and was wet every morning.
The house is stocked with an abundance of towels and bedding. Again, love the house. Locked door to patio…so unhappy about that. (And being that said patio is the cover photo for the house…pretty misleading)
Propert mgm was very responsive, but unable to help, so we were just left with kind of a sorry, can’t help and that’s that.
