Experience and discover an incredibly beautiful place to stay at Maria and Josef Bahlmann’s “Kuhlen Auszeit” in our rustic, cosy barrels.

The “Sunflower” barrel accommodates up to 4 people.
In the back area, there’s a large double bed (2.20 x 2 m) for 2 people. The benches in the front area invite you to relax comfortably or can also be used as additional sleeping spaces for children. The pull-out table can be tucked away into the storage space in just a few simple steps, creating even more room.
To ensure you have everything you need during your stay, the Sonnenblume is equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, an outdoor refrigerator, and a picnic basket with dishes and glasses for 4 people.
For the ultimate in comfort, our barrels feature infrared ceiling heating and additional electric heating to keep you cosy and warm even on cold days.

Each barrel has its own bathroom with a large shower, bathroom, and toilet.
For nature lovers, there’s also an outdoor shower.
A sauna made of high-quality cedar wood with a wood-burning stove is available for an additional fee.
Since July 2022, there’s been a spacious barbecue hut that invites you to linger comfortably on cool evenings.
