The terrace with mountain and lake views is perfect for barbecuing and relaxing. From here, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view across the entire length of the lake and over to our local mountain, St. Muffert, with its summit cross. A patio umbrella, lounge chair, and grill are all provided for your use.
For a peaceful retreat and a restful night’s sleep, two bedrooms with high-quality box-spring beds are available. A TV and a spacious closet are standard features, as are the floor-to-ceiling windows offering direct access to the terrace and the best views of the North Hessian mountains, all the way down to the lake. Enjoy the peaceful moments here in the early morning, when the last wisps of fog drift across the water, or relax at sunset with a glass of wine.
The living/dining area, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, offers space for socialising and culinary delights; from here, you can also enjoy the view and have direct access to the balcony.
Additional amenities, such as the electric fireplace, stereo system, and TV, complement the home’s high-quality and stylishly curated furnishings.
With its indirect lighting, shower area, sauna, and bathtub, the bathroom feels like a small wellness oasis. A guest bathroom is also available.
You can park your car right outside the door, and a wallbox for charging your electric car is included. A bike rack and a storage room are also available. Wi-Fi is included to keep you connected to the outside world.
The house by the lake is a retreat and a starting point for hikes, bike rides, or canoe trips—a place you’ll always be happy to return to. Whether in the delicate green of spring or the red and gold of Indian summer, or sometimes snow-covered in winter, the panorama never ceases to fascinate."

We spent a wonderful Easter weekend at Lake Diemel. Our holiday home was very tastefully and comfortably furnished. A fully equipped kitchen, TVs in the living room and bedrooms, comfortable box-spring beds, a sauna… Nothing was missing! The unobstructed view of the entire lake from every room deserves special mention. Very few houses in the resort offer that! We’d love to come back.
