At the foot of the Grünstein, in a sunny and central location in Schönau am Königssee, lies our guesthouse with 16 non-smoking holiday apartments of various sizes.
You can look forward to cosy, country-style holiday apartments. All apartments feature a living room with satellite TV, a kitchenette with a 2-burner stove and a refrigerator (some apartments also have a separate kitchen or a larger kitchenette with an oven), 1–3 bedrooms, and a balcony. From almost all balconies, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Three of the holiday apartments are located on the ground floor and have a separate entrance and a small terrace or outdoor seating area.
In the building’s basement, our guests have access to a washing machine and a dryer. Use and payment can be easily managed via an app. This room is also used as a ski and bike storage area.

The in-house drink service offers a variety of drinks at fair prices. You have free Wi-Fi access throughout the entire building. Your dog is welcome here and stays for free.
Enjoy a relaxing holiday in our spacious and comfortably furnished 2-room holiday apartment on the ground floor of the Landhaus Waldhauser. With 65 square metres of space, the holiday apartment offers plenty of room for a relaxing getaway for two.
The bedroom features a comfortable double bed (180 × 200 cm) with an open footboard, as well as a large closet—ideal for a longer stay.
In the cosy living room with direct access to the terrace, you can relax wonderfully after an active day. A comfortable sofa (sofa bed), an armchair, a nice dining area, and a TV with cable ensure a comfortable living experience. On the terrace, you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun when the weather is nice.
The kitchen is equipped with high-quality built-in appliances and offers everything you need for cooking: an oven with a microwave, a glass-ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher.
The bathroom features a bathtub, sink, and toilet; there is also a guest bathroom available.
Services & Amenities:

For families with children, we provide a travel cot and a high chair free of charge upon request. Every child travelling with you between the ages of 5 and 12 will receive a small “welcome bag.”
For dogs travelling with you, a towel and welcome treats are provided; a dog bed can be reserved free of charge upon request.
Each holiday rental includes a free parking space right next to the building. In all apartments, you’ll also find informational materials about the region as well as hiking guides.
Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available.
The holiday rental is equipped with dishes, pots, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, bed linens, and towels.

The holiday rental is ideal for 1–2 people. Your dog is welcome to join you by prior arrangement. Unfortunately, other pets are not permitted.
