A piece of Heaven

Beautiful surroundings ,lovely local people and the house itself was like something out of a movie. The pictures dont do it justice, it is absolutely beautiful and the scenery is literally breath taking. When we arrived we had to take a good moment to take in the house and scenery as we did not expect it to be this beautiful ,all modern facilities and the house is original and genuine and is by far the best place w ehave ever stayed at. The local area offers everything you need from shops,bakers,take aways,lake and park,castles,outdoor swimming pools and it is only a 25 minute drive into detmold too where i was born and my family lives,it really was just perfect for us. The hosts are very welcoming and make sure your stay is comfortable and and information need was instantly catered for. We will be booking the hpuse again if possible as it was jist perfect, the local people off harzberg were very kind and friendly too. This in our eyes is a 5 star accomodation. Thank you and we hope to stay again soon.

Alles bestens, wir haben das Wochenende sehr genossen. Alles war da zum Beisammensein. Nur die teils niedrigen Balken und Decken führten zu einigen Beulen, da unsere Söhne sehr groß sind.

Das Haus und das Gelände sie sehr geräumig. Alles, was man so braucht, ist vorhanden. Es ist alles gut erklärt und die Vermieter sind jederzeit zu erreichen. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Jederzeit wieder.

Nachdem man sich an die niedrige Decke in der ersten Etage gewöhnt hatte, war alles gut.Für sein Alter ist das Haus in passablem Zustand.

We hebben als wielrenners een fijne tijd gehad, Het was wel jammer van het weer een dag niet kunnen fietsen. Wel wil ik een opmerking plaatsen over de locatie. Het verblijf staat op 1,5 km van de doorgaande weg, met Max helling percentage van 11%.

Ein sehr schönes und großes Haus. Wir waren mit 9 Erwachsenen dort und hatten viel Platz. Das Haus ist verwinkelt und es gibt immer wieder etwas Neues zu entdecken.

Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Wohnen wie in einem Museum ohne auf moderne Annehmlichkeiten verzichten zu müssen... Unserer ganzen Familie, hat diese Unterkunft wirklich extrem gut gefallen. Einfach was ganz außergewöhnliches. Bad und Küche sind modern, das Haus wirklich ein Erlebnis. Alte Möbel (im positiven Sinne alt), Türen in denen man sehr merklich den Kopf einziehen muss, weil sie noch so niedrig sind. Wunderschönes altes Holzfachwerk. Großzügige Räume und ganz viel Platz. Ein Garten mit toller Aussicht. Ich war in meinem ganzen Leben noch nicht so positiv von einer Unterkunft überrascht. Einfach nur empfehlenswert, wenn man bereit ist auch mal etwas außerhalb der 'Norm' zu wohnen. Wir haben es jedenfalls geliebt :)

Charmante Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich charmant und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt inmitten von idyllischer Natur. Die Hosts waren sehr entgegenkommend und haben schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung. Aufgrund des benachbarten Pferdestalls ist die Unterkunft nur bedingt für Allergiker*innen geeignet.

Herbsturlaub mit Freunden

Altes Bauernhaus, geräumiger als auf den ersten Blick erwartet. Gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum für gemeinsame Essen und Spielabende. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Außergewöhnliches Haus!

Wir waren mit 7 Erwachsenen und 4 Kinder im Haus und es war viel zu entdecken. Jeder Raum ist einzigartig und immer wieder fallen einem neue Dinge auf. Das Haus ist sehr groß, so das sich jeder auch einmal zurück ziehen konnte. Insgesamt fanden wir es für ein Familientreffen sehr passend und hatten viel Spaß.

Uriges Haus für Gruppen

Wir waren mit 4 Paaren und einem Kind übers Wochenende in dem urigen alten Bauernhaus. Schon das Haus bei der Ankunft zu erkunden erinnerte uns an ein 5-Freunde-Abenteuer! Vorsicht, viele niedrige Deckenbalken! Man muss öfter den Kopf einziehen. Die Küche unten ist sehr eng, aber gut ausgestattet. An dem langen Tisch im Wohnraum im Erdgeschoss kann man mit 12 Personen sitzen und prima gemeinsam essen oder spielen. Wir hatten viel Spaß!

Uriges Ferienhaus für große Gruppen

Das Bauernhaus ist sehr verwinkelt, daher urig. Die Deckenhöhe in den oberen Etagen war etwas tief, das war aber für ein Wochenende o.k. Es ist viel Platz fürs gemeinsame Essen unten im Erdgeschoss. Die untere Küche ist etwas klein. Die obere größere Küche haben wir aufgrund unserer kleinen Gruppengröße ( 7 Leute) nicht genutzt. Total super ist die Lage und der Außenbereich. Man wohnt direkt auf einem Berg mit tollen Blick ins Tal. Draußen kann man an 2 großen Tischen super sitzen und die Liegen der Sauna machten den Blick noch gemütlicher. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr gut. Für ein Wochenende immer wieder gerne.

Fantastisch weekend in originele setting

Met onze vriendengroep van 10 personen hebben we in dit zeer originele huis een fantastisch weekend gehad. In de sfeervolle huiskamer een grote eettafel. De keuken is klein, maar alles is er. In huis wel opletten dat je je hoofd niet stoot, want de deuropeningen zijn afgestemd op kortere mensen van vroeger. Tuin met prachtig uitzicht, betegelde terras is wel een beetje smal, maar je kunt de tafels verplaatsen naar het gazon aan de zijkant van het huis. BBQ aanwezig. Alles bij elkaar een fijn verblijf gehad in een originele setting, een oud huis waar het wat minder strak is dan thuis, en juist dat verschil vonden wij prima.

Sehr altes schönes Haus - leider noch nicht wachgeküsst

Von Bauernhausromantik keine Spur. Das Haus selbst ist sehr alt, groß, und besonders. Mit knorrigen Böden und dicken dunklen Balken wirkt es dunkel. Das ergibt sich auch aus den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Allerdings ist es außen und innen insgesamt ungepflegt und riecht muffig. Das aus der Zeit gefallene, unbequeme, alte Inventar im gesamten Haus (Sessel/Sofa/Stühle) inkl. zusammengestellten, verschiedenen Gläsern, Essgeschirr und Besteck etc. ist es alles andere als gemütlich und schön. Die Küche im Erdgeschoss ist so klein, dass sich zum Kochen nur 1 Person dort aufhalten kann. Gemütlich ist der Ofen im Erdgeschoss, der leicht und schnell anzuheizen ist. Holz war vorhanden. Die Badezimmer erfüllen bei weitem nicht den Standard eines Ferienhauses und sind ungepflegt. Ein Badezimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer, so wie 3 andere Schlafräume auch. Es gibt keine Zentralheizung. Jedes Zimmer hat einen elektrischen Ofen/Lüfter. Die obere Wohnung ist nur über eine "Stiege" zu erreichen. Ein weiter Weg, wenn man diese Wohnung bzw. die Küche und das Bad mit nutzen möchte. In der dortigen Wohnküche befinden sich 4 Betten nebeneinander. Schöne Lage, schöner Ausblick, nur leider reicht das alleine nicht aus. Daher nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Der Vermieter war kooperativ. 7 Erwachsene aus der Lüneburger Heide
