When we arrived, there were a few issues with the property a couple of things that did not fully match the listing. However, this is a very large home that sleeps around 30 people, and with a property of this size, things can occasionally get broken, misplaced, or may not be able to be replaced before the next guests arrive. What mattered most was how the owner handled everything. They took full accountability, responded immediately, and offered to make everything right, including arranging local delivery to resolve the issues as quickly as possible.Their communication was prompt, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire situation. That level of customer service speaks volumes. No vacation rental will ever be absolutely perfect, especially one designed to accommodate such a large group. At the end of the day, the most important thing is having an owner who responds, takes concerns seriously, and does everything possible to make the stay right. This owner exceeded our expectations in every way.The house itself was extremely spacious, the views were amazing, and the drive up was an experience of its own. We even saw bears along the road on the way to the property, which made the trip even more memorable. The pool and hot tub were especially impressive. They were the cleanest and freshest-smelling pool and hot tub we have ever experienced during our 15 consecutive years of visiting the area. It was obvious they were very well maintained, and our family loved

The house and views were great. There were plenty of things to do without leaving. Our kids loved the pool and the theater room. Lots of room for everyone and the bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Communication with the property manager was good as well. There were a few minor things that kept this from being a 5-star experience. When we checked in at 4pm the cleaners were still cleaning until near 5pm, which means we kind of just had to wait out of their way until they were done. We were looking forward to using the hot tub the first night of our two night stay, but it was turned off and not warm at all. It took several hours to get it warmed up, but by then it was too late to use it. We also were looking forward to sitting out on the deck and using the fire pit, but all of the propane tanks were empty, and unfortunately, we weren't able to get replacements until around 7 pm the following evening from the maintenance crew. Overall, the experience was good, The above issues were not that big of a deal, but for the premium nightly rate of the rental, I would have expected to have full use of the described amenities throughout the duration of the stay and not have to awkwardly wait around to check in with the rest of our party.
