Enjoy our extensively renovated historical house in the heart of Lampasas. Close to everything!
Our 1920’s cottage is the ultimate private entertaining retreat. Modernized to fit our 21st century lifestyles with a nod to the original finishes of a time gone by. Some key millwork is proudly on display and preserved in all its glory.
Perfect for families in for a wedding, or attending one of the many iconic town events like Spring Ho, Hunter’s Weekend, Lampasas Rodeo, or Carol of Lights. Experience the many vineyards, antiques & thrift, eateries, famous sulphur springs natural pool, 18 hole golf course, local murals, sculpture gardens, nature walks, many parks, museums and spas.We also added a whole house R/O water filtration system, pool, hot tub and "Zen Cabana" with fitness equipment, yoga platform, library & massage chair.
The space:
We welcome you to our spacious home with the convenience of being just a short drive, walk or Uber ride to the Downtown Square. Sleeping 6, our home offers the space for your group to enjoy your time in Lampasas.
Historic fireplace mantle for memorable picture taking in the living room. A beautifully designed touch living room with plenty of games, books and large TV w/high speed internet opening up to the formal dining room that also serves as a poker table. A chef’s brand new kitchen with a full service bar and plenty of outdoor entertaining. We even have a doggie door and kennel for you pet owners (restrictions apply).
The primary bedroom has its own private deck seating area and entry, with a Tempur-Pedic king size bed,Smart tv and an ensuite bathroom with rain shower & body massage spray and a hand held wand and bidet. The quiet sanctuary of the Queen bedroom offers a tranquil nights sleep with Tempur-Pedic queen bed and pillows, tv and gun safe. The Blue room has a super comfy daybed, plus a luxury queen sized blow up mattress for extra guests and features a rustic cedar closet and a toy box.
Guest bath features a soaking tub, with a shower fixture that offers a rain shower, waterfall, hand held shower wand or body spray features.
Step outside in the backyard and find a gathering pit, solo stove/firepit, additional seating, charcoal grill, hot tub, pool and a fitness room we call "The Zen Cabana". it features a yoga platform, massage chair, dumbbells, and a library for your entertainment.
Or you could choose to sit out on the front porch or dine under the pecan trees.
The garage is not available for guests, but the driveway will accommodate a trailer, and two to four cars easily. You may park along the street on Spring and 2nd street as well.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please wash and dry all the used towels. We will wash all the bedding, so no worries there.
All used dishes need to be washed and put in the dishwasher and started before you leave please. Any unopened food items left behind will be donated to local food pantry.
Please take out the trash and put at the top of the road. Lock all the doors except for front door bottom lock and Cabana. Just hit the lock button on the front door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Gatherings in the backyard have "Quiet Hours" after 10pm. No music or loud noises.
No kids allowed in pool alone. ALWAYS supervise in pool.hot tub
Make sure all fires are extinguished. If inclement weather is occurring you must follow all local laws and recommendations. Fire Safety/drought stage
If approved pet stays occur, you must clean up and dispose of all dog poop. Throw away in trash bag and set to curb. Wash dog bowl.

Why they chose this property
If you have never been to Lampasas, you don't know what you're missing! When I first came in for a weekend, we pulled up to Country Kitchen for a home cooked breakfast, Then I went to The Trading Post on the square and spent hours looking at antiques and collectibles from various vendors. Then I ended up at the cutest, freshest Saturday Farmers Market on the square! Got eggs, tallow creams, freshly baked sourdough and local Lampasas Honey! Walked up the street for some schnitzel (RIP Eve's) and then a damn good Old Fashioned at Saloon 37. We headed out the next night to Bend General Store and caught a legendary musician (Ray Wylie Hubbard) and thought to myself "Am I living in a dream?" So we moved there and it got even better!! The local sights are quaint but incredibly personally satisfying. Walking the parks, seeing the arts, sniffing sulphur and Taco Tuesday *inside joke*. You literally are greeted with open arms and encouraged to participate in local traditions and BAM, you're now living in the Hill Country Whoville!
You can get lost in learning about the rich history Lampasas has and even volunteer to make it even better! So many opportunities to get involved and participate as little or a lot as you want to.
Lampasas has an active, church going crowd and there's just about every flavor of church out there for you if you want it. Friday Night Lights are not an exaggeration you read about, or watch on TV. In this town, we cheer on our Badgers and you can even hear the crowds cheer and the band play from our front porch. We also have deer buddies that will parade up and down the streets at dusk, waiting for the neighbors to feed them. Did I mention we are a major hunting hub in the winter? We can provide the comfort for the ladies while the husbands are at a lease a few miles away. No reason to freeze, am I right? We hope you enjoy this small town as much as we do!

We are offering a luxe BNB experience that you might want to experience. I set out to create an immersion experience for my guests, and included all the modern conveniences from the big city. Cooking is a dream in the kitchen, and entertaining in the lush back yard allows your party to enjoy almost every nook and cranny. The layout is surprisingly spacious and private. Dine in the front yard with the deer, or get a massage in the Zen Cabana. Hang out in the pool, and grill under the fairy lights. The back yard is an extension of the house and is a hit with all who stay with us.
Whatever you do, say "Howdy" to the neighbors as they walk on by, and enjoy the slower pace. Coffee on the front porch watching the sun rise is one of our favorite past times.
