This south facing apartment is a home from home in the sun. I spent the winter there and so enjoyed

Pros: This south facing apartment is a home from home in the sun. I spent the winter there and so enjoyed it that I have booked next winter. It is set in a quiet area on the outskirts of Torrevieja with local bars/restaurants in the surrounding streets, supermarket just up the road. Frequent buses run from either end of street to La Mata and Torrevieja (€1.35 per journey) and then onward travel to Alicante, Benidorm etc is available. The apartment itself is well equipped and comfortable, beaches short walk and pool on site. The owner Kjeld could not be more helpful and I would recommend a stay there to anyone.

A tranquillo area, but a little remote from convenience stores and restaurants, if you have a car, it's not a problem. Not a perfect location if you have children. Nothing to do outside unless you drive. We had a great holliday.

Pros: Casa de Sonrisa is a really great place to spend a relaxing holiday. The appartment has all the facilities you need, and the balkonee and terrace are perfect for having long meals and talks, while listening to the sound of cicadas and birds from the trees across the street. We were there in September, and it was nice and quiet - we even had the pool for ourselves in the afternoons. The supermarket Mercadona is easy to walk to, and has a huge selection of vegetables, fruit, meat and fish/seafood. So we enjoyed many good meals. I can defintally recommand Casa de Sonrisa. Torrevieja is very touristic though, so if you want to experience real Spanish lifestyle and culture, you might want to rent a car to go for excursions in the area.

Piso cómodo y bien ubicado

Pros: La urbanización estaba cuidada, el piso se ve cuidado también, hay que coger coche para todo pero todo está entre 5 y 10 minutos lo cual es cómodo. Las playas cercanas son de difícil acceso, recomendamos ir a la playa de la mata. Cons: Encontramos una barbacoa pequeña dentro de un almacén en el ático, sin indicaciones de uso, no hablan español y las indicaciones al llegar fueron monosílabos. La caldera dejo de funcionar y encontramos una nota donde decía que hacer, pero no nos lo comentó en el check-in. Todas las sartenes con el teflón estropeado, varias de las piezas de vajilla sucias, la cafetera y la tetera llenas de cal e imposible de usar, solo tras la limpieza con vinagre de limpieza que les di durante horas. La cortina del baño con moho, fue directamente a la lavadora con lejía, el suelo con arena y detrás de los muebles con siglos de polvo. Todo lo que se supone que te dice que te deja (café, aceite, sal, jabón, lavavajillas, ...etc) depende de lo que dejase el anterior inquilino y por lo tanto de la suerte.

Lovely

We hebben het heerlijk gehad in dit compleet ingerichte huis met heerlijk zonnig dakterras. De keuken is goed, alle apparaten werken en het is schoon. De bedden zijn goed maar niet extra breed. In de badkamer is een bad en er is voldoende heet water in de boiler. Het zwembad is heerlijk.

Pros: Vi benyttede lejligheden 3 uger i jan. 2015. Der var pænt og rent ved ankomst og kommunikationen med housekeeper Teresa fungerede perfekt. Det er dejligt med vaskemaskine og opvaskemaskine og et i øvrigt veludstyret køkken. Et stort plus er dansk DR 1 og TV 2 mm. Fra lejlighedens tagterrasse er der en super flot udsigt mod havet, også fra altanen kan man se havet, som ligger 5 min.s gang væk. Vi kunne nyde det gode vejr både oppe og nede. Kølige morgener og aftener. Der er masser af muligheder for udflugter i området. Det er også muligt at gå lange ture langs havet ind til byen eller mod La Mata. Vi kan varmt anbefale lejligheden.

Pros: Vi lejede lejligheden i 6 uger incl. august md. 2018, og havde en fantastisk ferie. Der var alt hvad vi havde brug for i lejligheden, og tagterrassen var det bedste sted at være om morgenen og aftenen. Vi grillede de fleste dage. Poolen ligger lige om hjørnet, så let at gå til. Man kan gå til supermarked på ca. 15 min., men vi anbefaler bil, da man også skal have indkøbene med hjem! Kommunikationen med udlejer var rigtig fin, og alle spørgsmål blev besvaret, og rigtig mange gode forslag til udflugter. Når vi tænker os rigtig godt om, havde vi nok ikke noget at beklage os over!!

Pros: El apartamento esta situado en una zona muy bonita. Lo que mas nos gustó del apartamento y donde mas horas pasamos fue en la piscina y en la terraza solarium. En el apartamento hay de todo, cocina completa. Solo faltava microondas para mi gusto. Y en la terraza puedes hacer barbacoa, tambien hay tumbonas, todo listo para disfrutar de unos dias fantasticos. En cuanto al clima fue fantastico porque por calor que haga la humedad es baja y suele pasar airecito que se agradece. No hay comercios cerca, solo una farmácia en la calle de detras. Para ir a comprar tienes que coger el coche y el super mas cercano es el Mercadona. Las playas para nosotros no nos gustaron nada porque hay mucha roca a la entrada al agua. Para ir a la zona del centro tienes que ir en coche y aparcar en algun parquing porque es dificil aparcar en la calle. Nosotros cogimos dias de feria. En esa zona hay muchas heladerias y tiendas de zapatos a muy buen precio (yo lo comparo con barcelona). El propietario te proporciona mucha informacion de la zona y de sitios donde ir. Para nosotros las zonas mas bonitas a parte del paseo maritimo fueron la zona de la Mata y el parque de las Naciones donde hay animales en libertad mientras paseas: gallos, gallinas, patos, ocas, pavos reales, conejos y nosotros al tener niñas pequeñas disfrutaron muchissimo. Os animo a ir porque no os defraudará.
