Groot Huus - Family vacation on Norderney
A traditional Frisian cottage in the heart of the island’s centre, located on a quiet side street
The Groot Huus features a terrace both in front of and behind the house. On the ground floor is the separate kitchen with two seating areas and a serving hatch leading to the dining room, where a table comfortably seats nine people in front of the terrace window. A separate bedroom with two bunk beds and the TV room open out to the back terrace with an apple tree. The spacious, natural-light-filled bathroom features a tub, a shower, and double sinks. A washing machine and dryer for free use are also located there.
On the ground floor are the master bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with three single beds, and the guest bathroom.
The cottage is perfectly suited for large families. The decor—a tasteful blend of clean Nordic design and cosiness combined with functionality—is perfectly suited for children.
