The Space:

Vida Feliz Casitas is a boutique property made up of four separate casitas arranged around a shared pool area. When booked as a whole complex, all four casitas and all outdoor spaces are exclusively yours. Each casita has its own entrance, patio, kitchen, bathroom with outdoor shower, king bed, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and high-speed mesh Wi-Fi.



Casita 1 is the original casita on the property with a spacious layout. It features a king bed, ensuite bathroom with outdoor shower, kitchenette, safe, AC, and a fully private enclosed patio. It has the feel of a traditional Mexican home with plenty of space to spread out.



Casita 2 is a thoughtfully laid-out retreat that balances indoor and outdoor living. King bed, ensuite bathroom with outdoor shower, kitchenette, safe, AC, and its own private patio.



Casita 3 overlooks the shared pool and follows the same layout as Casita 2. King bed, ensuite bathroom with outdoor shower, kitchenette, safe, AC, and a patio with direct pool views.



Casita 4 is the largest unit with two king bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower. It has a full kitchen (four-burner gas stove, refrigerator, blender, toaster oven, coffee maker), a spacious patio with a private dunk pool, and a large living room. This is the natural gathering spot for the group when you want more room than poolside provides.



The Pool Area is the heart of the property. The shared pool is surrounded by tropical plants, loungers, a palapa, and an outdoor shower. It is the place where mornings start with coffee and afternoons dissolve into long conversations. Every casita is just steps away.



This property was designed for groups who want to be together without being on top of each other. Four casitas means four separate front doors, four private patios, four kitchens, and four outdoor showers. Every couple or individual in the group has a genuine home base, not a hotel room.



There is no formal common dining area, but that turns out to be an advantage. Casita 4's large living room comfortably accommodates the full group for evenings in, and the pool area is the natural gathering place for shared meals, drinks, and downtime. Some groups cook in their own casita and eat together poolside. Others gather in Casita 4's kitchen and spread out across the patio. The layout flexes around how your group actually works.



This setup is ideal for multi-couple getaways, milestone celebrations, family reunions with adult children, yoga or wellness retreats, or any group where people want the option to recharge alone and reconnect on their own schedule.



Guest Access:

When the entire complex is booked, your group has the whole property to yourselves. There are no other guests on site.



The Neighborhood:

Vida Feliz Casitas is in the south end of Sayulita, a residential neighbourhood with local character. The main beach is about a seven-minute walk. Playa de los Muertos, the quieter beach, is even closer. The town square, restaurants, surf shops, and cafes are all within a short stroll. Close enough that you do not need a car, calm enough that you actually relax.



Getting Around:

There is no need for a car as everything is within walking distance. If you do have a car during your stay there is free street parking in front of the property. Golf carts are easily rented and we have a parking port for golf carts with charging.



Other Things to Note:

All four casitas are separate units with their own entrances, patios, and kitchens. If your group is smaller than the full property, each casita is also available individually (search "Vida Feliz Casita" to find Casitas 1 through 4 as standalone listings). Minimum stay for the whole complex is 4 nights. We offer golf carts for rent at discounted guest rates, which is a great way to explore Sayulita and the surrounding area.



What is included in the whole-complex booking:

All four casitas (5 bedrooms total, sleeps up to 12), exclusive use of the shared pool area with loungers and palapa, Casita 4's private dunk pool, all patios and outdoor spaces, high-speed mesh Wi-Fi across the property, and access to linens, towels, beach towels, and toiletries in each casita.



Sleeping arrangements: The five king beds comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. Groups of 11 or 12 are welcome, but additional guests will be sleeping on sofa beds that we set up in advance. These are not pullout sofas but are made up as comfortable sleeping spots for your stay.



We believe in setting accurate expectations. Sayulita is a real, growing tropical town, not a resort, and that is part of what makes it special. Here are a few things worth knowing before you book.



The property: Each casita has its own kitchen or kitchenette, but there is no single large communal kitchen or dining room. Casita 4 has the largest kitchen and living space. The outdoor showers in each casita are part of the tropical living experience and are in addition to the indoor bathroom facilities. The pool is not heated.



Utilities: Power outages can happen occasionally, and when the power goes out, water pressure drops temporarily. We could also run low on water between cistern refills; if that happens, we arrange a refill as quickly as possible. Internet outages are rare but possible due to the local ISP. If reliable internet is critical for your trip, we suggest bringing a mobile hotspot as a backup.



Living in the tropics: You may encounter mosquitos at night, and it is possible to come across the occasional scorpion (usually if clothes or pillows are left on the floor), ants, lizards, or geckos. These are all part of tropical living and are generally harmless. Mornings may include roosters and neighbourhood dogs. Sayulita is actively growing, so daytime construction noise nearby is possible. Dust can build up quickly in the dry season, and the occasional late-night gathering at a neighbouring property is not unheard of.

Interaction with Guests:

Our local property team is available by message if you need anything, but we respect your privacy and will not visit unless you ask. Check-in is self-service, so you can arrive on your own schedule. The pool maintenance and gardener both visit on Tuesdays and Saturdays to keep everything in shape. Their visits are brief and scheduled so you know when to expect them.
