The “Villa Chicken,” built in the 1960s and boasting a unique, sunny location above Brixen, has been extensively renovated in the mid-century style and now shines in new splendour. The high-quality interior brings the 1960s back to life—combined with modern comforts, we’ve created a villa that captures the flair of that era. A hot tub with a view of the Eisack Valley and the surrounding mountains invites you to relax after an eventful day in the mountains. Enjoy the view of the old town with a glass of wine and reflect on your day. <br><br>The Dolomites, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, are just a stone’s throw from Brixen and are a year-round attraction for hiking, biking, or skiing. The cable car station for Plose—a mountain popular for skiing and scenic views—is a 15-minute drive away.<br>Other skiing and hiking areas, such as Jochtal, Seiseralm, Kronplatz, and the legendary Sellarunde, are reachable in 20–40 minutes.<br><br>The beautiful old town of Brixen, with its numerous restaurants and shops, is just a few minutes’ walk away via an ancient Roman road. As an added benefit, we offer you the Brixen Card—which grants you free admission to all museums in South Tyrol, allows you to visit castles, palaces, and much more, and gives you daily access to the municipal Aquarena swimming pool.<br><br>Villa Chicken<br><br>The house has two living levels. On the ground floor is the spacious living-dining area with a luxuriously equipped kitchen and a bar counter. Here, you can play barista and make yourself a coffee using the Nespresso machine—which includes a milk frother—with one pack of capsules provided as a welcome gift—or play bartender and shake up a cocktail. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and an additional drink refrigerator at the bar. <br><br>Enjoy the view of Brixen’s church towers from the cosy seating area with its large panoramic window, or let the open fireplace set a warm, atmospheric tone for your winter evenings. You can also relax in the pleasantly warm water of the hot tub and take in the sights of Brixen’s old town and the surrounding mountain landscape. <br><br>Adjacent to the living room is a bedroom with a modern bathroom. This bedroom offers direct access to the whirlpool and the garden. The upper floor is accessible via the spacious entry hall, which features an additional guest bathroom. <br><br>On the upper floor, in addition to the master bedroom, there are two guest bedrooms and a study, as well as two modern terrazzo bathrooms. Each bedroom is individually furnished in a 1960s style and has access to the wraparound south-facing balcony with a view of the city. Next to the master bedroom, you can relax in the comfortable lounge on the covered terrace. <br><br>The study is furnished with an original 1960s desk; here, you can work via Wi-Fi if needed. A pull-out couch with a sleeping surface of 120 cm allows you to convert the study into an additional single bedroom if needed. <br><br>In the basement, you’ll find a washing machine and a ski storage room for the winter, conveniently accessible directly from outside via a separate basement entrance. <br><br>For your comfort, the accommodation is fully equipped with bed linens, towels, shower gels, shampoos, and hand soaps from the South Tyrolean company trehs, as well as conditioner. Beauty sets, toilet paper in the bathrooms, and dish soap and dishwasher tablets in the kitchen are also provided. <br><br>The Garden<br>The spacious garden is located in front of the house and offers a stunning view of Brixen and the Eisack Valley. A spacious covered terrace with a dining table offers comfortable outdoor seating high above Brixen. Directly adjacent to the terrace is a hot tub for 7 people, nestled in a Mediterranean landscape with a view of the church towers of Brixen. Lounge chairs are available in the garden for relaxing. <br><br>Guest access<br>One underground parking space and two parking spots next to the house are available. <br>Additional paid parking spaces are located just a few minutes away.
