Our original stay was no longer available, so we were moved into another property that was presented as an “upgrade.” Unfortunately, the experience did not feel like one. The biggest issue was a substantial amount of water pouring through the upstairs bathroom ceiling vent. This was not a minor drip, and there was not even a bucket in the property to help contain it. We had to use three of the four towels provided just to manage the leak, and despite reporting it, no one ever came to inspect the issue or the visible water damage in the basement. One bedroom door was also so warped that it could not fully close, and the downstairs bathroom had no mirror. The washer and dryer did not work, even after trying different outlets as suggested. For a week-long stay, we were only given one towel per guest, and when we requested more after using most of them for the leak, only two additional towels were provided. The Wi-Fi was unstable and did not work properly upstairs or on the lower floor. Streaming was difficult, cell service was poor, and even after explaining that remote work was required, the issue was never resolved.Communication was generally okay, but the actual problems were not addressed. For the amount we paid, the condition and functionality of the property were subpar. Considering the ceiling leak, existing water damage, unreliable Wi-Fi throughout the property, unusable laundry, and lack of adequate towels, some acknowledgment or partial refund would have been reason
