We really enjoyed the cabin. It was a short walk to the swimming hole and restaurants downtown. Right around the corner from the aquarium. And just a few minutes from Mt Scott. Hosts were great with communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Amenities were nice and high quality, not the cheapest of the cheap like most places. Kids really enjoyed the loft and bunk room. Cost place that’s kept up well. We’d definitely stay again if we go back to the area. Thanks!

Our family of seven had a wonderful stay at the Lone Oak Cabin in Medicine Park! The cabin was the perfect size for our family and provided a cozy, comfortable place to relax after our adventures. My husband and I stayed in the main bedroom, while our two older boys loved sleeping in the upstairs loft. My mother, niece, and youngest son were perfectly comfortable in the bunk room, making the layout ideal for families. One of our favorite parts of the cabin was the dining table, where we gathered each evening for family game nights. Those moments became some of our favorite memories from the trip. We also appreciated how well-stocked the bathroom was. The owners thoughtfully provided essential items, so if you happened to forget something at home, chances are they had you covered. The outdoor patio was another highlight. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening when the weather was cooler and peaceful. The cabin itself is absolutely adorable and full of charm. You can tell the owners have put a great deal of thought and care into every detail, creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and truly like a home away from home.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Lone Oak Cabin to anyone planning a visit to Medicine Park!

Thank you for the wonderful review. We look forward to your next stay. In Bible days, hospitality was very honorable. People would usually rent out an extra room in their home. It allowed people to show love & kindness to strangers that they otherwise would have never met. We totally get it.

My wife took me to Medicine park for the first time after visiting family one evening years ago. I fell in love immediately. My first words to her were, “where are we?” And “we need to buy a place here.” Our initial experiences were not pleasing because the cabins we rented were not taken care of. Things did not work, doors did not close properly, dirty linens….So we bought Flute Player Cabin. A few years later our family grew and needed a larger cabin. So we bought Lone Oak.
We have put our hearts & money into them both so not only our family but also our guests can enjoy a wonderful place to stay in Medicine Park. A very large number of our guests have become repeat guests and stay multiple times each year with us. Makes our hard work definitely worthwhile.

Why they chose this property

Scenery, wildlife, restaurants, peacefulness and nearby family.

What makes this property unique

Detailed workmanship, quality of materials, endless amenities, exceptionally clean. Once you stay with us you will understand. Our advertising pictures do not do the cabin justice. It’s much more beautiful in person.
