Lovely old house in the historical area of Washington Park! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Great house for larger groups as the finished basement has two bedrooms and a very comfortable seating area that also includes extra sleeping space if needed. We visited during record breaking heat and the AC in the place was such a lifesaver! Whole Foods being right across the street was so convenient as well. Honestly would stay here again!

Cleanliness and safety are issues: stained linens and housewares and a front door that "doesn't lock" so one had to use the screen door as front door. The shower drains slow and the garbage disposal doesn't work. Notified the owners/manager but they were totally non responsive, literally you will get emojis and nonsense but absolutely no respect.

This lady is a total SCAMMER. Our property manager MET them at the home for check-in, they WALKED the entire property with them, asked if they had any issues with the conditon, etc and NOT anything was said. She REFUSED to use the VRBO app to communicate (claimed she was 'unable' to download it because it's a 'work' phone), then proceeded to contact us 2 days into the stay and started threatening to leave a bad review if we didn't give her a refund. Then she said the disposal was broken, we (all had to be done on a PHONE TEXT, cuz she REFUSED to use the VRBO messaging system) offered to send someone over, and again, we have PROOF of her text, she REFUSED to allow anyone, said she 'wanted to be left alone for holiday', so we honored that and they checked out a day later. This was her 'FIRST' booking according to VRBO (no reviews and we usually don't allow, but in this case we did), turns out, she HAS rented before and 'according to her' has 'MULTIPLE Rentals in our area', she refused help when we offered to send a technician and the cleaner back over, she just wanted MONEY....and you need to STAY AWAY FROM HER!!! I would share her TEXTs, but VRBO won't allow it right now as they investigate to have these LIES removed. Thank you
