NOTE: in order to list the spaces where we have sleeping quarters it’s listed as a seven bedroom. This is a four bedroom house. It’s been brought to our attention that we’re being fraudulent. This is only a four bedroom house have an upper living room area and a lower living room area that have sleeping arrangements, which makes it six and then we have two cots-I’m sorry I can’t change the platform. I just wanna be transparent. The upper living room has a leather sofa that pulls out to a double bed. There’s a TV in the room. The lower living area has a double rollaway bat.
Enjoy the quiet, private setting directly on the lake, while still being within easy driving distance of dining, shopping, trails, wineries, golf, and local attractions.

We love all four seasons, time at the lake, and spending time with our children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Creating beautiful spaces and unforgettable experiences isn’t just something we do—it’s something we truly enjoy.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for our retirement because it’s centrally located, with our kids just 2 to 3 hours away, making it easy for them to enjoy the property with us. We had already owned a cottage in this area for eight years, so we knew how special it was before settling here permanently. What really sold us was the privacy—we have only one neighbor, with woods on the other side, which gives us space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The paved road access was a big plus, especially for winter use. The lake is clean and well-maintained, and we’ve never experienced issues like swimmer’s itch. The community on this lake is incredible—friendly, welcoming, and something you just don’t find everywhere.
One of our favorite features is the front deck—it’s perfect for entertaining, which is something we truly love to do. The deck really becomes the heart of everything here. It doubles as a dance floor during celebrations and a peaceful space to relax and unwind with coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. When the landscaping is in full bloom, it’s absolutely gorgeous and makes the whole setting feel even more special.
The home also has the space to host and celebrate with family, and that’s what makes it truly amazing. There’s nothing better than having all our children and loved ones under one roof, creating memories, celebrating together, and enjoying everything this place has to offer.
We also love how close we are to so many activities and amenities—golf courses, hunting land, shopping, dining, wineries, and nearby areas like West Branch, Tawas, Mio, and Gladwin. Having access to major medical centers nearby is another huge bonus and adds peace of mind. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful lake living with everything you need just a short drive away.
