The Baltic Sea spa town of Graal-Müritz is located between Rostock and the Fischland-Darss-Zingst peninsula. The town stretches 5 km along the Baltic Sea and is almost completely surrounded by the Rostocker Heide forest area. Graal-Müritz has a population of about 4,000. The town offers a variety of shopping options. Attractions include the 350-meter-long pier, the 4.5-hectare rhododendron park, the local history museum, the old Büdner houses, the Graal-Müritz church with its 26-meter-high tower, and the Ribnitz raised bog.
