Our holiday rental, Landhaus GLÜCKSmoment, is centrally located in the health resort town of Rottau, nestled between the Chiemgau Alps and Lake Chiemsee. The surrounding mountains and hiking trails are perfect for outdoor activities, offering exciting hiking and biking adventures. If you’d rather stay home, our spacious orchard offers plenty of room for the whole family, whether you’re playing table tennis or badminton. Our youngest guests are sure to have fun in the pirate ship sandpit, too. Our little “barbecue corner” and campfire pit add a cosy touch to your holiday.<br> Enjoy your holiday in our new, lovingly furnished holiday apartment in Chiemgau, completed in March 2022. It sleeps 4 people in two separate bedrooms (a fifth sleeping spot can be provided upon request). The living room, with its large couch, is perfect for a quiet evening watching TV, but also offers plenty of space for a fun game night—a collection of games is available for your use.Our new kitchen is very well-equipped. In addition to a coffee maker, you’ll find a fridge-freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, among other appliances. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, towel dryer, and a washing machine, which is included in the price. A pellet stove combined with electric heating ensures cosy warmth during the cold season. A key safe is located next to the front door to ensure a smooth check-in and check-out.<br> From our apartment, you can explore Lake Chiemsee in just a few minutes by steamboat; the lake is also home to Herrenchiemsee Castle, a potential candidate for World Heritage status. Not far from our apartment, you’ll find, for example, the Rottau Forest Animal Trail, the “Klaushäusl” Salt and Moor Museum, the Kendlmühlfilzen Nature Reserve, our Torfbahnhof Museum with its light railway, and the Moor Experience Trail—which offers fun for young and old alike—among other attractions. You won’t be disappointed when it comes to dining in Rottau either—just a few minutes away are three restaurants with beer gardens.<br> We are a young family who would be happy to give you tips on leisure activities and are always open to your wishes and suggestions, so that your holiday is as pleasant as possible and will remain a lasting memory.
