Find your words here. A small writing desk sits beneath the window, a vintage typewriter stands at the ready, and a floating shelf holds 15–20 curated books to inspire. The Writer`s Room is the most secluded room at The Cedar — the end unit of our back building, designed for focus, creativity, and a stay you`ll want to write home about. Private bath, smart TV, free WiFi. Minutes from Cedar Point, Kalahari, and the Lake Erie islands.
We want every guest to have an amazing stay! Our quiet hours are from 11:00pm to 7:00am — a little consideration goes a long way in keeping the good vibes going for everyone. Our bar is open Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00pm until 30 minutes after sunset, and we`d love to see you there.

NO SMOKING INDOORS: The Cedar is strictly smoke-free in all guest rooms and indoor spaces. Smoking cigarettes or cigars inside will result in a $500 cleaning fee charged to the card on file. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available — please ask at check-in.
