The Sielstern House, completed in January 2013, features a spacious living-dining area with comfortable underfloor heating, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The cosy leather couch in the lower living area invites you to relax in front of the wood-burning stove or the flat-screen TV (including a Wi-Fi dongle for video streaming). The fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, large refrigerator with a large freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, egg cooker, and much more) leaves nothing to be desired. The house features 2 terraces with garden chairs and 2 lounge chairs from which you can enjoy the magnificent view of the water. The ground floor also features a bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom with a two-person sauna and a walk-in shower; a towel warmer is also provided. The entire ground floor is wheelchair-accessible, and the access path to the house has been adapted accordingly.
On the upper floor, there are 2 additional bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds) and a bathroom with a shower. The bedroom with the double bed also features a cosy couch and a second flat-screen TV.
In the storage room, you’ll find a wooden cot, a high chair, and an ironing board and iron. The upper floor is also fully tiled. A cot can easily be set up in both of the upper bedrooms. The children’s room has a CD player with a built-in cassette player.
Fly screens are available (in the bedrooms and one living room window).
All bedrooms are equipped with smoke detectors.
The garden is completely fenced in, so your four-legged friend will feel right at home (dogs are allowed upon request).
One parking space is available.
The Sielstern house is powered by NöRDER strom natur, meaning 100% renewable energy and no nuclear power!
Free Wi-Fi (on-site registration required). DSL (We do not guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed).
The house directly next door is Huus an’t Gracht; the same property also includes the accommodation Fischhuus, Lejea, Achterblick, Grachtenperle, Sieloase, Kiek up de Gracht, and Grachterum.
The holiday home is located in Greetsiel, a picturesque coastal town on the East Frisian North Sea coast. Set in a quiet and idyllic setting, the historic town centre—with its romantic harbour, famous twin windmills, and cosy cafés and restaurants—is just a few minutes’ walk away. The dyke landscape around Greetsiel offers numerous biking and hiking trails with magnificent views of the Wadden Sea. Thanks to its proximity to the North Sea and the East Frisian Islands, the holiday home is the ideal starting point for relaxation and varied excursions.
You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
