This place has everything you could want—come on holiday and relax in a wonderfully peaceful setting, just a 10-minute walk from the town centre and the harbour. This beautiful canal-side cottage features a sauna and a fireplace and can accommodate up to 6 people and a toddler.

From the terrace, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view across the meadows and fields all the way to the dike.

On the ground floor is the spacious living/dining room (94-screen LCD TV, DVD player, and stereo system with USB and SD ports) featuring an integrated kitchen with a cosy counter. Includes a ceramic-glass stove, dishwasher, oven, toaster, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, Senseo coffee pad machine, electric kettle, and blender.

All windows can be darkened with pleated blinds; the bedrooms also feature exterior shutters.

The wood-burning stove (new as of late 2025) and the sauna invite you to enjoy cosy evenings and peaceful moments.

The house has 3 bedrooms (one bedroom is equipped with an LCD TV —outlets are available in all bedrooms); one of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor (double bed 2 x 2 m with adjustable slatted frames), and the other two bedrooms are on the upper floor. All bedrooms have exterior blinds. One bedroom there is furnished with a double bed (2 x 2 m), the other with 2 single beds (2 x 0.90 m). The cot can be set up in the upstairs bedrooms. One shower room is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with a wall-mounted grab bar.

The ground floor features comfortable underfloor heating. The upper floor is carpeted.

A high chair and a cot are available free of charge.

One dog is permitted upon request and for a fee.

During the Easter and fall school breaks, this property is rented for stays of five nights or more with no fixed check-in day.

The holiday home is located in Greetsiel, a picturesque coastal town on the East Frisian North Sea coast. Set in a quiet and idyllic setting, the historic town centre—with its romantic harbour, famous twin windmills, and cosy cafés and restaurants—is just a few minutes’ walk away. The dyke landscape around Greetsiel offers numerous biking and hiking trails with magnificent views of the Wadden Sea. Thanks to its proximity to the North Sea and the East Frisian Islands, the holiday home is the ideal starting point for relaxation and varied excursions.
