Property Description/Herkingen/Goeree-Overflakkee:<br><br>Property Description:<br><br>This detached holiday home (approx. 75 square metres) is located in a quiet holiday park in Herkingen on the Goeree-Overflakkee peninsula (Province of South Holland), situated directly behind the dike and in close proximity to a small sandy beach on the Grevelingenmeer (walking time: approx. 1 minute).<br><br>The house is privately rented out exclusively for holiday stays. According to the park’s bylaws, renting the property for purposes other than recreation is not permitted.<br><br>After conveniently parking your car on the property, you enter the house through a hallway that leads to the open-concept living/dining area and the newly renovated bathroom (shower/toilet).<br><br>A staircase leads to the two available bedrooms, which can accommodate up to 5 people.<br><br>When the weather is nice, the large sun terrace with patio furniture and a parasol, as well as the spacious garden, invite you to sit together and relax.<br><br>A large outdoor grill is also available for enjoyable barbecue evenings.<br><br>In addition, the house features a fully equipped kitchen (including a refrigerator with freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster), a garden shed with space for bicycles, as well as satellite TV and Wi-Fi.<br><br>Please note that smoking and bringing pets are unfortunately not permitted. <br><br><br>Herkingen/Goeree-Overflakkee:<br><br>Herkingen is a typical small village on the Goeree-Overflakkee peninsula.<br><br>The Herkingen marina is a popular gathering spot for water sports enthusiasts, especially in the summer. <br>From the restaurant located in the harbour, you’ll enjoy a lovely view of the boats moored there and the hustle and bustle of the harbour.<br><br>From Herkingen, you can embark on a variety of excursions and sightseeing tours in the surrounding area. There are numerous well-marked bike paths available, making it an especially great spot for cycling.<br><br>For other destinations, the cities of Rotterdam, The Hague, or Antwerp may also offer a welcome change of pace. <br><br><br>North Sea/Grevelingenmeer:<br><br>The Dutch coastal region is known, among other things, for its long sandy beaches and offers ideal holiday conditions for lovers of the sea, the beach, and water sports.<br><br>The Grevelingenmeer is located in the southern part of the province of South Holland and is the largest saltwater inland lake in Western Europe.<br>Its northern part is separated from the North Sea by the Brouwersdam.
