Unbelievable amenities and unparalleled comfort await. Grand Getaway is ideal for a family vacation as it comes equipped with all the entertainment needed to spend a fun-filled escapade - a private heated outdoor pool, a convenient hot tub, cable, a marvelous pool table for billiard tournaments, board games, a firepit, and even a gas grill to host cookouts to your heart's content! Inside, this five-bedroom abode boasts a well-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and a kitchen island with three stools to add more dining space, a convenient desk in case you still have some work to catch up with, a private washer/dryer, and a full-size pool table. Outside, you can find an outdoor dining area with an umbrella by the kitchen to enjoy your meals alfresco. THINGS TO KNOW The hot tub is available year-round. The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The pool will be heated to 80 degrees prior to your arrival. This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan LLC.

Terrific multi-family vacation at Grand Getwawsy

The house was WONDERFUL… spacious , clean and comfortable! The lower level play area( pool table, dart board, Pac-Man machine) was perfect for a rainy day! Absolutely loved the outdoor area… huge, heated pool, hot tub, fire pits , basketball area and great outdoor shower! Vacasa took excellent care of us and will definitely book through them again.

Awesome place!

This house was awesome and was perfect for our group of 8 friends. Plenty of room both inside and out. We loved the beautiful pool and yard area. So many great places to sit and relax. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. New Buffalo is a few minutes down the road, and is a nice, friendly little beach town with some great shops, breweries and places to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

Surpassed expectations

This property was great. It had every amenity one could ask for and more. The common areas were big and comfortable and there were other rooms if people wanted to spread out and get work done, have a little privacy, and play hide and go seek. We were a three-generation family of 11 and we all had a great time.

One of the best vacations ever!!

The house was lovely. Never seen such a well-appointed kitchen before! Had absolutely everything we needed. The pool was awesome. I don't have anything negative to say. The only comment is that they advertised and four king size beds, and there were two kings and two queens.

Great house for large group

This home has plenty of room, including dining for 11! Wonderful pool and also close to the beach and dunes. Dealing with the management company (Vacasa) for house information was a nightmare. They gave incorrect answers to questions, so that negatively impacted our stay. The property itself was great.

Good house, great outdoor space and pool

This house works very well for our extended family (7 adults two children). This was our second summer at the house and we will consider a third. Only suggestions for improvement are (i) the screened in porch would be more useful with a better-fitting door and more comfortable furniture and (ii) the twin bed mattresses in the basement could be upgraded.

Great rental property!

We have stayed in a lot of vacation houses, and this was probably the most comfortable and well stocked in terms of bedding, toiletries, etc. We loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool was huge and tons of fun for the kids, even though the water was hot like bath water in this July heat. Lots of comfy outdoor seating as well. We were disappointed that there was no actual beach access from this neighborhood. We didn't realize that you could only walk to a rocky area of the lake and we had to drive into New Buffalo to actually go to the beach. Still, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with lots of amazing houses to walk by. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Last Minute Switch

We originally booked another house and got a call the night before check-in that there was an issue with that house but they could switch us to this house. We were skeptical because we spent a long time choosing our original house, but after staying at the Grand Getaway, we're so glad we did! Two blocks from the water (no beach access due to erosion), the neighborhood was beautiful and fun to stroll around. The home had several nice sized rooms, and the master was enormous so that even with the portable crib for our infant, we had tons of room. The fenced backyard was lovely and the main living space was wonderful and plenty of room for our two families to relax together. The kitchen had everything we needed for a long weekend of cooking for a big group and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped it was. The pool was well covered so I wasn't afraid to let my young kids play in the yard and we used the hot tub every day (which was especially nice while it snowed!). Overall a nice stay and very comfortable for our group.
