I rented the unit over Memorial Day weekend. The unit had not been cleaned appropriately. A small bag with a roll of toilet paper, trash bags, a dish soap were left on the counter. Unfortunately the kitchen had ant infestation. The stove wasn’t cleaned and had burned food in the bottom. Back splash and side of refrigerator was dirty and grease stained. Also, wash machine agitator was noticeably dirty. Empty chip bags were found when we pulled out the sleeper sofa. Sofa bed mattress liner was dirty and molded. In addition the linens ( bed spreads, curtains and decorative pillows all need to be replaced. I reached out to the management company because of the ant issue and broken curtain rod over the patio bedroom window. The management company sent over a guy who handed over a box of liquid ant bait. I was told that I should expect to see ants-OC sits on sand. Also, that most units didn’t have coverings over the bedroom window patio. Needless to say my concerns were dismissed. I have stayed in this building several times in other units and I feel as though it isn’t up to standard. I reached out to Vue Stay for the past 2 weeks and provided them with pictures via email, text messages and I received sorry responses. All of the telephone calls are sent overseas to apologetic staff who don’t know managers names. Very disappointed that this unit wasn’t cleaned or maintained as should be.
