The Sankt Englmar holiday region, a state-recognized climatic health resort in the Bavarian Forest, offers relaxing and cosy holidays for nature lovers in every season.<br><br>Our bright, newly renovated holiday apartment features modern furnishings. It is located in the Englmarer Hof, a small, quiet residential complex on a south-facing slope near the town centre. With approximately 70 square metres of space, it offers all the amenities needed for 2 to 6 people, even for a longer stay.<br><br>Through the entryway with a coat closet, you enter the living/dining room with a large south-facing balcony offering views all the way to the Alps. The separate kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, stove, and microwave. The bathroom with a tub was renovated in 2021. The bedroom has a double bed that is 1.60 m wide. The third room has a bunk bed, and there are two additional fold-out beds in the living room.<br><br>Downstairs in the house, you’ll find a sauna with a relaxation room and a fitness room, as well as the cosy fireplace room, which is available for use by all residents. Here you’ll also find the billiards room with a ping-pong table, the children’s playroom, and access to the garden with playground equipment and a barbecue area.<br><br>You can park right in front of the house. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the town centre, where you’ll find the tourist information office, restaurants, a pizzeria, cafés, bakeries, a butcher shop, a savings bank, and a petrol station, as well as an EDEKA supermarket 1.2 km from the house. The XPERIUM is located right in the heart of Sankt Englmar. The nature-oriented spa park, featuring a playground and a natural swimming lake, invites you to linger. Other attractions, such as the treetop trail and the summer toboggan run, are just 3 km away. The nearest ski lift is 0.3 km from the house, and the ski lift at Predigtstuhl is about 1.5 km away. Additional ski lifts and many cross-country trails are very close by. Ski rentals are available, for example, at the Predigtstuhl Resort. Up here, there’s also a riding stable and a climbing forest. A doctor’s office is just a few hundred metres away at the next crossroads.<br><br>At the top of the hill, on the other side of the street, the hiking trails to the Pröller begin. The road leads to Viechtach, a charming small town with many shops, pharmacies, banks, cafés, and restaurants.<br><br>Charging station for electric cars: At the Kurpark, very close to the EDEKA supermarket at the town entrance, there are 2 charging stations with 4 Type 2 connectors.
