The condo is in a great location; however, on a short three-night vacation, we spent far too much time reporting and managing maintenance issues.When we arrived, the bunk bed ladder was not securely attached. Our son nearly fell while climbing it and did not feel safe using it afterward, so we moved the mattress to the floor. The drapes in both the primary bedroom and living room did could not be closed, the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom did not work, and an electrical outlet was missing its cover plate.The biggest issue was the HVAC system, which suddenly began leaking a significant amount of water. We had to place a bucket under the unit and use towels to contain the water, then monitor and empty the bucket repeatedly, including twice overnight and several times during the day. Maintenance eventually determined that the HVAC line was clogged and repaired it.To their credit, VueStay communicated with us throughout the stay, apologized, and arranged for the HVAC repair.Given that our three-night stay was significantly impacted by multiple maintenance issues, we requested a 300 partial refund to reflect the disruption to our stay.VueStay responded that they would review our request and follow up. More than two weeks later, we have received no decision or further communication regarding the refund.
