Haus Fridhem is located in the historic village of Härlöv. The house has been completely renovated in keeping with the 1920s style, while still offering all modern comforts. Haus Fridhem is located 50 meters from Lake Furen. On the Fridhems property (2,000 m²), there is also Fridhem 2 (property ID 543221).. These two houses can accommodate 20 people.
We have a private dock on the beach, where you’ll also find a boat and a canoe. You can swim from the dock and at the beach. If you have young children, this is a safe place for them to swim. The Fridhem house is very beautiful. From the terrace, you have a fantastic view of Lake Furen. You can, of course, fish in this lake. You’ll find perch, zander, pike, trout, eel, and crayfish there. In Härlöv, you’ll also find forests with numerous hiking trails. You can easily find berries and mushrooms, and the rich wildlife—including moose, deer, lynx, hares, wild boars, and roe deer—invites you to observe it.

Fishing, swimming, and sauna: Lake FurenSee is particularly rich in fish, and in addition to the abundance found in all Swedish waters, pike, perch, eel, and whitefish are among the zander populations. The season runs year-round, with highlights in April, May, September, and October. In winter, ice fishing through holes drilled in the ice is very popular.

Our large boat and swimming dock serve as the hub, starting point, and finishing point for water activities. Right next to the sauna, you can relax, unwind, and take a dip in the lake.



For golf enthusiasts: Golf: You can play golf at the Alvesta Golf Club in Moheda (7 km). You can also play at the Växjö Golf Club (15 km) and the Värnamo Golf Club (50 km).



What our guests say: The house is lovingly furnished and has plenty of charm.
The garden is spacious and borders the lake.
It’s located on a private beach, so you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet. We went out every day on the lake in the canoe and rowboat, where we caught plenty of fish.
The owner, Lars, is very friendly, helpful, and always ready with advice. He speaks German very well.
The proximity to Alvesta and Växjö is also excellent. The Härlöv area, with its meadows, fields, and forests, is very beautiful.

Great Sweden Stay!

As a family of 7 visiting from the USA we very much enjoyed our stay in this cottage on the lake! The view was beautiful! Accommodations for our family were perfect! We enjoyed making family meals in the great kitchen and gathering around the large family table. The bedrooms were perfect, and the sauna was amazing! We were in town to cheer on the USA National Bandy Team and the location from Harlov to the arena was great! Thank you, Lars, for coming by and joining us for coffee. Our time at the lake house was pleasant enough. We were a group of 11 (3 adults, 8 kids). The property and the lake are beautiful. The yard is well manicured. Our kids loved the electronic piano! And the house was very affordable. As an American, there were things we didn’t know were common and weren’t stated in the VRBO listing. For instance, we were told on arrival day that we needed to provide our own linens and towels. We obviously did not have linens and towels. We were told we could rent them for 15/person. We also didn’t realize we needed to rent the life jackets. There was only 1 full roll of toilet paper at the house and when I asked I was told we had to provide our own.The cleaning procedures at the end of our stay were more involved than any American VRBO we’ve rented. Beyond stripping the beds and taking out the garbage, we needed to vacuum and mop, scrub toilets inside and out, wipe out the fridge, oven, and microwave, and even vacuum the mattresses. The owner of the home had to come and approve our cleaning before we left.Our biggest complaint is that one of the bunk beds collapsed on our last night. It was being held together with zip ties. Fortunately my nephew on the bottom bunk wasn’t badly injured. Just a scratch on his face. But there wasn’t even an apology when we told Lars.Overall, I think we got what we payed for as this was a very affordable VRBO for 11 people. But we wouldn’t stay again.

Haus am schönen See

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem schön und gemütlich. Die Lage ist top, der See ist sehr schön. Kanu fahren hat echt Spaß gemacht, welches zum Haus dazu gehört.

Härlöv, Schweden wie aus einem Astrid Lindgren Buch

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt auf einem tollen Grundstück in einem schönen Haus am See. Wir haben die Natur genossen, ob im Elchpark oder am Wasserfall oder eben auf dem Grundstück.

Ein paradiesischer Ort

Wir haben unsere Zeit in Härlöv im Haus von Lars sehr genossen. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir als Groß Familie im Urlaub brauchten. Lars ist ein sehr entgegen kommende und freundlicher Gastgeber.

Traumhafte Lage!

Wir haben v.a.die traumhafte Lage genossen, den See direkt am Haus, das tolle Grundstück, das Boot... Die Natur und Umgebung ist wirklich traumhaft! Wir waren mit 3 Familien für 2 Wochen dort, lediglich die Zimmeraufteilung gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, da es mir 3 richtige Schlafzimmer gibt. Aber das konnten wir auch lösen. Dor Betten sind zum Teil etwas unbequem, die Ausstattung der Küche jedoch wirklich top! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir würden nochmals buchen

Sehr schönes Haus, hier und da könnte mal etwas erneuert werden ( Matratzen, Bettdecken und Kopfkissen, Toilettendeckel im Obergeschoss) Ansonsten haben wir nichts zu meckern. Top Lage, direkt am See. Fisch ausreichend im See vorhanden. Hier kann man auch mit einfacher Ausrüstung einen großen Fang machen. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung, spazieren gehen kann man gut, kleiner Badestrand in 10 Minuten Fußmarsch gut erreichbar Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Vermieter sehr freundlich

Tolle Lage, ideal für Familien und Freunde

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche bei bestem Wetter in Härlöv. Ein tolles Haus (direkt am Wasser), sehr geräumig und alles was man braucht. Angeln ging auch gut, wir haben ein paar Fische gefangen:-). Nicht weit von Växjö entfernt, um einkaufen und sonstige Erledigungen zu machen. Danke an Lars (unseren Vermieter)! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Familienurlaub

Sehr großes Haus mit viel Platz. Große Wiese und Terasse.. Zwei Kanus und Ruderboot waren Klasse.Teilweise ist das Haus recht einfach gehalten. Sauna im Keller, aber leider ist der Rest des Kellers nicht sonderlich schön und sieht aus wie eine Baustelle.

Zum wiederholten Mal sehr schön!

Wir waren nun zum 6. Mal in diesem Haus und es ist wie immer toll gewesen. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind höchstens einige Matratzen, die könnten mal erneuert werden ;-) Ansonsten alles wie immer, rundum schön! Wir sind gerne Gäste von Lars und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

Urlaub am Furen

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub bei wundervollen Wetter. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine tolle Lage direkt am See. Auch die Angelmöglichkeiten auf Hecht und Barsch waren gut. Beim Check-In und Check-Out gab es keinerlei Probleme. Gastgeber Lars (spricht hervorragend Deutsch) war sehr hilfsbereit. Ein wunderbarer Ort um einen entspannten Urlaub zu genießen.

Toller Urlaub

Wir waren 2 Familien mit 9 Personen im Haus Friedhem und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für uns alle war mehr als genug Platz. Das Haus liegt direkt am See und so konnten wir, wann immer wir wollten zum Baden ins Wasser gehen. Ein Kanu und ein Ruderboot gehören zum Haus dazu, beides wurde gerne und oft von uns genutzt. Der Garten ist riesig und so fanden wir auch schöne schattige Fleckchen, wenn es uns auf der Terrasse zu heiß wurde. Es gibt leider keinen ausreichenden Sonnenschutz. War für uns kein Problem, wie gesagt, es gibt genügend schattige Plätzchen. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Lars war sehr freundlich und hat uns auch einige Tipps gegeben, was es sehenswertes in der Umgebung gibt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist ein kleines Cafe, fussläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt dort wunderbare kleine Gerichte und Kuchen. Es war ein super schöner Urlaub und wir würden jederzeit wieder hier her kommen.
