It was out first time visiting TN and I have to say that Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg actually the whole state of TN is absolutely beautiful. Our check in was really smooth (once we found our room it was midnight and the numbers are not very big) we were texted a code to our room and was able to get in and settle. We had a 12 hr drive from NY. The room was clean and fresh and absolutely beautiful (shower was amazing). I thought the game room was in our room but it was not its actually located downstairs. They left us dishwasher & laundry pods along with pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils etc. The ice maker in the fridge doesnt work, ice maker is in the ping pong room you have to turn on and off. If you like quiet recommend staying upstair can hear lids running and people talking( normal apartment experience). We did not like the fact that 2 dogs were barking all the time couldn't sit on the patio due to them and loud teens (our kids ages 17 &14) were loud and left the game room/pool area disgusting. We will not take that experience away from the property. It was amazing and absolutely beautiful, clean, & peaceful. We even seen a bear our porch!!Highly recommend as it is more secluded but still close to everything. Pigeon Forge is our new FL and we will be using this company again to stay again!! Again, we didn't complain to Kathleen just wanted to enjoy our last 2 days and regardless had an amazing vacation!! Also views are absolutely amazing!!
To start with the positives: cold air conditioning, wonderful pool, comfortable beds, great location. The location is super close to everything without feeling like you are down town. The host is super responsive, replying quickly to messages. The negatives: uncomfortable seating, not enough seating for larger groups, not enough dishes to accommodate the number of people, stained walls, broken kitchen knobs, missing toilet paper holder, loose tiles, and minimal junky kitchen utensils/pans. Kitchen drinkware, utensils, and pans look like hand me downs a young broke adult would just be starting off with. Overall we had a good experience. A little up keep and refresh could really make this place a 5 star place.
Stayed 5 nights. The place was nice. Clean and reasonably well maintained. Having 2 BRs and 2 baths with double bowl sinks was great. Also a great location. So I’d give the place 4.5 stars. The big issue I have is communication with the host. Leading up to and during stay communication was great and host was very responsive. The problem is and still at the time I’m writing this review is after checkout. My son unfortunately left his iPad in the unit. I informed the host about 6 hours after checkout when he realized he left it. We were already 400 miles on our return to home and I offered to pay for shipping and to pay someone 50 for their time to ship the iPad.That was 2 weeks ago and I still have no resolution. My son’s iPad is still in Pigeon Forge per tracking app. I’ve been reaching out every couple of days and I have been getting the same response of “I understand your frustration”…”I’m checking with my team”…”I will get back to you with an update”…”thanks for your patience”. I have NOT received ANY proactive update from the host. A few days ago I was told the iPad will be shipped by the end of the week. It’s 9pm Eastern time on July 3rd and host has not sent me a tracking number.I completely understand that leaving the iPad is on us. But asking the host to arrange shipping at no cost AND paying someone 50 is more than fair.I delayed posting my review in hopes this would have been resolved but this is last day to do so, thus I have no choice.
This place was adequately nice but not somewhere I would necessarily choose to stay again or recommend to friends. It definitely can sleep 10 but there is not nearly enough seating for 10. We had four adults and two children and made it work. The couch is very small with only two small chairs as your other seating options. The fixtures are worn with handles falling off in the kitchen, broken tiles in the bathroom, dirty walls, worn/stained rugs. Very limited kitchen items, no coffee as advertised. The pool was great, probably the best part of our stay. And the location was convenient. I felt comfortable with my family but I have definitely found nicer places for similar price.
