Wonderful secluded location nestled in the woods. Cozy comfortable cabin that has plenty of sleeping room and everything you need. Lots of CD's with great movies. Nice fire pit for evening. Only 25 minutes to tahquamenon falls, and 1 1/2 hours to pictured rocks. Nice central location with so much to do!

The cabin was clean when we arrived. Several light and switches were not working. We had unannounced visitors (mice) both upstairs and down stairs. The mosquitos were terrible during our rental which is not something the owner can control. Just unlucky to be there at the wrong time. Because of this, we were unable to enjoy the outside amenities.

Hi James, thank you for the feedback. We apologize about the lights, we fixed the breaker. As for the mice, that was our first time hearing that and we took care of that as well. We did spray for mosquitoes as well. Again, thanks for the feedback!

Welcome! We are Brian and Mandi Klein, and we've fallen in love with the beauty of Michigan's pristine Upper Peninsula. From taking to the trails to relaxing on the shoreline of one of our Great Lakes, we dreamed of having a place of our own amid this slice of heaven. We purchased Lazy Bear Cabin, our first vacation rental. We fixed it up and began inviting others to spend some time in our home away from home. We have now purchased and are renovating our second vacation rental cabin. We look forward to seeing where this journey brings us, and we are excited to invite you to vacation in God's Country Cabins!
