We're Terry and Felicia — originally from the US, now split between Tbilisi and Jebel Sifah, Oman. Between us we've spent 7+ years living out of short-term rentals across 15+ countries, which gave us a very clear picture of what hosts get right and what they forget.

Jebel Sifah is one of Oman's most beautiful and least-known coastal communities — a private resort enclave set between dramatic mountains and the Gulf of Oman, about 75 minutes southeast of Muscat. It genuinely surprises people when they arrive: quiet, unhurried, and striking in a way that doesn't feel manufactured.

We chose it because it delivers something rare in the Gulf region — a real escape where nature is right outside the door. The views here, in particular, are unlike anything else in the area. Mountains behind you, sea in front of you, and a sky that does something special at sunset.

Manzar View is built around its rooftop — a private outdoor terrace designed specifically for dining, lounging, and watching the sun drop behind the mountains over the Gulf of Oman. It's the kind of feature that photographs well but lives even better: morning coffee with panoramic mountain views, evenings outside with no one else around. Inside, the apartment is modern and well-equipped — a king bedroom, three bunk beds in the living area for kids or extra guests, a fully stocked kitchen, dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi, and a yoga mat and free weights for those who want to keep moving.
