Best Intentions was an amazing place to stay! If you're exploring the Lake Erie area, this is the place to be. It's within walking distance to multiple restaurants and coffee shops (and Jet Express if you're exploring the islands), and you won't find a kinder host. The property was beautiful and clean- we loved it and can't wait to go back soon!

We love to travel, and generally prefer to stay in vrbo’s whenever our travel plans allow!

Downtown Port Clinton is a charming area year round. Summer crowds fill the bars and restaurants that are all walkable. The Jet Express dock, the beach, the walleye charter boats, the lighthouse all add to an amazing experience.

What makes this property unique

This space underwent a top to bottom remodel in 2026. The windows give you a birds eye view of the District Stage. The elevator makes getting your luggage in a breeze. Parking is just outside the door.
