Ocean View and Sunset, Log House

My home is located in New Edinburgh, Clare, a quiet area with very little traffic right in front of the ocean. A perfect area for a beautiful walk, run, or bike ride with the family to enjoy 3km of ocean view

University Ste. Anne is only 12 mins away. On campus you can find a pool, gym and skating rink or enjoy a 5km walk in the trails of the Petit Bois. Beside the university is the largest wooden church in North America. 15minutes away we offer one of the most beautiful 18 hole golf course. And 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store.

If you are bringing an enfant and would like a travelling playpen, or high chair please request them when you book.

Absolutely beautiful view. The house was perfect for our family's needs. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. No AC (expected for the location), but having the windows open provided the perfect breeze. Great location. Close to the main roads so we could make trips to Digby, or an even shorter trip to beautiful walking areas. We were the first VRBO listing so we had some hiccups with check-in and available amenities, however the host was responsive. Recommend future guests to confirm that items are available if they are a must-have ahead of time.

The guests were great. Place was left clean except for the trash. No recycling was done, and everything was thrown into the blue bag.. There was a garbage can located under the sink, that wasn’t used. I brought the blue bag home to sort it all out to separate paper, glass, compost and garbage. Some provinces have different recycling rules. Rules have to be very specific. About the amenities. Had a playpen, but thought in my site it was to be requested. Called Vrbo and learned that I had to write it out in my instructions. The other company I deal with is to ask upon request. Now I know.

I moved here in 1990 and fell in love with the Clare community. Was a domestic wife and mother of 4 children. We are a bilingual family. I’ve been a host for at least 9/10 years. Lost track. I thought it was a good opportunity to rent my home thru Vrbo and air bnb now that my children are grown up. Love meeting new ppl whenever I get the chance. I enjoyed travelling and have retired almost 1.5 years ago.
