This property was NOTHING like the listing. The photos and description were misleading and appeared AI-enhanced, as the number of beds, seating, kitchen, and dining areas did not match what we found. It was advertised as a luxury home for 12 guests, yet there were not enough beds, seating, dishes, cups, plates, or utensils for that many people and the house was clearing still under construction.Major issues included: the oven would not preheat or stay on because the breaker continually tripped; the upstairs AC did not work, making the entire second floor nearly uninhabitable; the thermostat was locked on a schedule and was set to 87 our first night; the beds had flannel candy cane sheets in the middle of summer; there was no coffee maker; and we found rotting potatoes in the pantry that had attracted fruit flies throughout the first floor. There was also one, small TV sitting on the fireplace floor for the entire house. All four kids ended up in one room because of the broken AC upstairs (see picture).This was not a luxury rental by any reasonable standard. We paid approximately 2,500 expecting the property advertised, but what we received was worth a fraction of that. The listing materially misrepresented the home, and we believe guests deserve an accurate description and photos before booking.
