Lakefront Retreat w/ Hot Tub + Sauna

Welcome to your lakefront retreat on Lake Owasso—a thoughtfully designed space created for families and small groups to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time together, featuring a hot tub and sauna for unwinding after a day on the lake.

Set in a quiet residential neighborhood, it offers a peaceful, calm atmosphere that feels a world away—while still being just 15 minutes from both Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed to feel both elevated and easy to live in—with space to gather and space to spread out. The main living area overlooks the lake, creating a natural place to relax and spend time together. Four bedrooms offer peaceful lake views, while a cozy bunk space in the lower level gives kids or extra guests their own tucked-away spot. Upstairs, a bonus room with a foosball table and game table adds a fun, low-key place to unwind.

Step outside and enjoy direct access to Lake Owasso—a fully recreational lake perfect for swimming, boating, or simply spending the day by the water. Afterward, unwind in the hot tub, warm up in the sauna, or gather around the fire pit for a slow, cozy evening.

Please note: To respect our neighbors and comply with local short-term rental requirements, guest parking is limited to a maximum of four vehicles and must remain within designated onsite parking areas. Overnight street parking is not permitted.

We had a lovely time at this lakefront property. Plenty of room for our entire multi-generation family. We especially enjoyed the stand up paddleboard, kayaks, and floaties that allowed us to get out on the water. And we make good use of the hot tub! The host is very responsive and addressed questions quickly and effectively.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property on Lake Owaseo in Minnesota! The location is fantastic—right on the water and close to wonderful restaurants, Target, shopping, sporting events, Bethel College, and several other colleges in the area. The home itself is beautifully renovated and thoughtfully decorated. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and every detail made the space feel warm, inviting, and relaxing. Being right on the lake was amazing, with a hot tub, kayaks, paddleboard, dock, and fire pit—everything you could want for a peaceful getaway. Our host was wonderful, accommodating, and always willing to help. They were also conveniently close by if we needed anything, which made our stay completely stress-free.It truly was a beautiful spot, and we would highly recommend staying here. We would absolutely love to come back!

This was one of those places where we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It was squeaky-clean and well laid out for our family of 12. The lakefront setting is absolutely beautiful, and it quickly became the backdrop for some wonderful family memories. We spent nearly every day swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding, and it was such a gift to have all of that right outside the door. The hot tub was a favorite with the kids and the perfect way to wind down after a day on the lake. Inside, the home is beautifully updated with a modern feel while still being warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable. It struck the perfect balance of stylish and cozy. The hosts were fantastic! They were kind, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. We also loved how convenient the location was, with excellent restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else we needed just minutes away.We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about coming back. Thank you for sharing such a special place with our family!

I’m a local Minnesota host, and this lakehouse is a shared dream brought to life by our family and close family friends. Between our two families, we have several young kids, so creating a space that felt welcoming, functional, and relaxing was important to us from the very beginning.

We love everything about lake life — slow mornings, time outside, evenings in the sauna, games around the table, and making memories with the people you love most. Our hope is that guests feel at home here and leave feeling refreshed, connected, and cared for.

We’re grateful to share this little corner of Lake Owasso with guests and hope your time here is both restful and memorable.

Why they chose this property

One of the things we love most about this area is that it truly feels tucked away and peaceful while still being incredibly convenient to everything the Twin Cities has to offer. The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on Lake Owasso, which gives it a calm, relaxed feel that’s hard to find so close to Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Within walking distance, guests can enjoy a public beach, playground, and neighborhood parks, making it easy to spend time outside and enjoy the lake atmosphere. There are also plenty of great local restaurants, coffee shops, and nearby conveniences just a short drive away.

It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy quiet mornings by the water and still be in either downtown in about 15 minutes.
