About this property

6BR Near Emory / CHOA / Beth Jacob - Sleeps 10-16

Carolyn House is a 3,500 sqft brick home in Atlanta's Toco Hills neighborhood — 17 years lived-in, deeply personal, and built for groups who want space, comfort, and a real home base instead of a hotel block.

Six bedrooms sleep up to 16. Three bathrooms. Two kitchens—one with two sinks. A music room. A 800 sqft deck with a covered outdoor living room with a bed swing. A bamboo forest backyard bordering a nature preserve. Carport and in-unit laundry included. The house has character because it was actually lived in. The kitchen is stocked the way someone who genuinely loves to cook stocks a kitchen, including my complete collection of polish pottery. The décor is travel pieces collected over years of going places and bringing something home. Music runs through the whole vibe of the house — from the record collection to the music room to the outdoor speakers.

Minutes from Emory University, Emory University Hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and CDC headquarters. Walking distance to Beth Jacob and the Toco Hills dining and shopping strip. Easy highway access to Midtown, Buckhead, and Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and the Atlanta Braves. Self check-in means you arrive on your schedule. Everything you need is already there.

I'm Stacey, and Carolyn House has been my home for 17 years. This isn't a property I picked up as an investment and furnished from a catalog. It's a house I've actually lived in — cooked in, traveled back to, filled with things I love. The kitchen is stocked the way a person who genuinely loves to cook stocks a kitchen. The décor is travel pieces collected over years of going places and bringing something home. Music runs through the whole vibe of the house. It's cozy in the way that only a long-loved home can be. Guests always say it feels comfortable immediately — not staged, not sterile, just a real home that happens to sleep 16. I'm responsive, I know this house inside and out, and I want your stay to feel exactly like it did for me all those years: like the best place to come home to.

Why they chose this property

Most big houses feel like they were assembled to rent — generic furniture, bare walls, the minimum. Carolyn House is the opposite. It's a home that happens to sleep 16. Guests consistently say they feel comfortable the moment they walk in — not staged, not sterile, just warm and real. The two full kitchens make it genuinely functional for large groups. The bamboo yard and bed swing give people somewhere to actually be outside. The music room gives the group somewhere to gather that isn't just another couch. And the location — Toco Hills, minutes from Emory and CHOA — makes it the right choice whether you're here for a family reunion, a medical stay, or just a big trip that needed a real home base.

What makes this property unique

Two full kitchens — not a kitchenette, two complete cooking setups. An outdoor living room with fire swing. Music room. Bamboo forest backyard on a nature preserve. 17 years of a real person's creature comforts baked into every room. Walking distance to Toco Hills restaurants and shops. Minutes from Emory, CHOA, and CDC. Sleeps up to 16 without anyone feeling crowded.
