We chose Windansea because it's the rare La Jolla pocket that still feels like a neighborhood. Quiet residential streets all funnel down to one of California's most iconic surf beaches, where the historic palm-frond Surf Shack has stood since 1947. Mornings are coffee at Immersion, afternoons are sandstone coves and reef breaks, and sunsets stop everyone in their tracks — surfers, dog walkers, families on blankets. No crowds, no boardwalk hustle. Just ocean, sandstone, and that unmistakable Windansea breeze.
