Wir (Paar) hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Sorana, check-in war problemlos und die Beschreibung war zutreffend, die Zimmer größtenteils sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist hilfsbereit, Sprachkenntnisse sind aber von Vorteil. Die Küche ist gut ausgerüstet, bis auf den Wasserkocher hatten wir alles notwendige da. Vom Fenster im ersten und zweiten Stock aus hat man einen weiten Blick auf die Hügel und Wälder, das haben wir sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig, wenn man davon absieht, daß zwei Fenster auf den Dorfplatz gehen und die Kinder gerne nachts bis elf dort Fussball spielen. Etwas mehr Infomaterial hätten wir uns noch gewünscht, aber wir haben uns schnell zurechtgefunden, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und hatten tolle Tage.

Mittendrin statt nur dabei

Die Ferienwohnung entsprach größtenteils den Bildern, auch wenn sie etwas kleiner ausfiel als erwartet. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, auch wenn nicht jede Ecke gründlich gereinigt wurde. Der Ort Sorana ist ein wahres Juwel, geprägt von seiner authentischen Architektur und den herzlichen Menschen. Hier lebt man mitten unter den Einheimischen. Das Dorf ist lebendig, und die Kinder spielen bis 23 Uhr auf dem Dorfplatz vor dem Haus Fußball, während die Erwachsenen sich unterhalten. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und mit vielen wertvollen Tipps versorgt. Kenntnisse in Französisch oder Italienisch sind von Vorteil. Ein echter Geheimtipp ist das ehrenamtlich geführte Dorfcafé, das zugleich ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und Treffpunkt ist – besonders samstags, wenn es Pizza gibt. Unten im Tal gibt es eine traumhafte Badestelle, die hauptsächlich von Einheimischen besucht wird. Wer Authentizität schätzt und mobil ist, dem können wir diese Ferienwohnung wärmstens empfehlen.
