One of the things that makes Bear Valley so special is the incredible setting. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and even seasonal ocean views during the winter months, it truly captures the beauty of Alaska.

Guests often enjoy the peaceful sound of the nearby stream, the quiet atmosphere, and the feeling of being immersed in nature. Wildlife sightings are common, and there are wonderful hiking opportunities right outside our door.

In the summer, you can experience Alaska’s famous midnight sun, with long golden evenings perfect for exploring and enjoying the outdoors. During the winter months, the property also offers amazing opportunities to view the aurora dancing across the night sky.

Although we are conveniently located within city limits, Alpine Oasis feels like a true Alaskan retreat — peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by the beauty of the wild.
