The 34-square-meter ground-floor Besler apartment awaits you with a spacious living/dining area featuring an open and fully equipped kitchen that flows seamlessly into the living room, which includes a full-size bed, a sleeper sofa, and two wingback chairs—from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. A flat-screen TV and a stereo system complete the living room. A small hallway leads directly to the bathroom, which has an exterior window and a shower/toilet. The sunny terrace is furnished with seating.

The apartment also includes an open-air parking space.
Skis and sleighs can be stored free of charge in a basement storage room. If you’d like to relax a bit after a long hike or an active day of skiing, you’re welcome to use the sauna in the basement for a small fee. And for those who’d like to lift a few weights, stretch, or work out after their mountain activities, our new fitness area is available free of charge.

If you’d like to bring your beloved four-legged friend, please indicate this when booking. We charge a flat, one-time pet fee of 50€ per stay.
Out of consideration for other guests, we ask for your understanding in adhering to the following rules:
- Only one small, calm dog per apartment that quickly feels at home in a new environment
- Dogs must be kept on a leash at Landhaus Obermaiselstein
- No lying down or romping around on beds or seating areas
- Please make sure your dog feels comfortable and, if possible, do not leave him alone

Obermaiselstein is a quiet health resort and a true hidden gem at the foot of the beautiful Hörnerkette mountain range. This small town is located only about 7 km from Oberstdorf and 19 km from the Austrian border (Kleinwalsertal), making it an ideal starting point for various activities and excursions.

Hiking trails, ski resorts, and lakes are all within easy reach.

In addition to your private holiday apartment, you’ll also have access to the shared areas in the basement (sauna, fitness room, ski storage) as well as the entire garden.

Note on Tourist Tax

Since the booking portal Vrbo unfortunately cannot directly include the tiered tourist tax in the Allgäu region in the billing, we will send you a separate invoice for the tourist tax approximately one week before arrival, requesting that you make a bank transfer.

All guests aged 14 and older are charged €3.00 per person per night.
Children aged 6–14 pay a reduced tourist tax of €1.50 per child per night.
Children under 6 are exempt from the tourist tax.
