Tucked right alongside the Bates College campus in one of Lewiston's prettiest neighborhoods, Our Cottage is a 450 sq. ft private retreat.
Wake up to songbirds & wander the beautiful Bates campus...or lace up & climb Mt. David for scenic views. The Maine coast is just a short drive. Situated 40 min north of Portland, we are a perfect halfway point whether you're headed to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, or beyond.
Bates family/alumni? We are a 1-min walk from the Gomes Chapel and Schaeffer Theater side of campus.
Medical professional? We're 1/2 mile from both CMMC and St. Mary's Hospital.
Amenities to make your stay comfortable: -Fully stocked kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, French press, and Keruig. Ground coffee, k-cups, tea, and basics like cream and sugar are stocked in the cottage for your convenience. -Queen bed in bedroom, and pull-out sleeper sofa in living room -In-unit washer and dryer -Heated bathroom floors -Heat and AC -Smart TV -Small patio -Cleaned with hypoallergenic and low-scent natural/organic products; linens washed with fragrance-free detergent -Simple and straightforward booking rate, no surprise deposit or cleaning fee
Working remotely or bringing young children? Laptop stands, highchairs, baby gates and other items can be made available to borrow upon request.

**The Vibe** This cottage is a private in-law unit next to our house, giving you your own private, separate space. We're tucked into a quiet and beautiful residential neighborhood next door to Bates College. Our cottage is ideal for guests who want to slow down, sleep well, and feel genuinely at home in a wonderful and peaceful neighborhood.
**Parking** One space in our driveway is also available to you if you need a place to park. Otherwise, free street parking is right out front, available 6 AM–11 PM.
**A Few Things to Know** - We are not able to accommodate guest pets at this time, sorry! - No parties or events please.
