New Luxury Creekside Retreat: Hot Tub, Fire Pit, 3 Acres of Mountain Bliss
Streamsong at Eagle's Nest puts a High Country adventure right at the back gate of Beech Mountain, just eight minutes from the slopes, shops, and summer trails. This brand-new single-level retreat, built in 2024, sits beside two babbling mountain streams, delivering the kind of soundtrack that makes mornings slower and evenings sweeter.
The outdoor spaces are where the magic happens. A brand-new hot tub bubbles away in the yard near the stream, perfect for soaking sore muscles after a day on the mountain or stargazing after dark. A firepit crackles nearby, made for marshmallows, laughter, and stories that stretch into the night. Step onto the main deck and settle into cushioned chairs around a fire table, framed by stream views that turn every sunset into an event. Around the corner, a second deck area off the primary suite offers a gas-log fireplace and its own seating nook, made for quiet coffee mornings or a nightcap under the stars. Fire up the grill for a mountain cookout, then let the sound of rushing water carry the rest of the evening.
Step inside and the great room delivers instant wow factor. A floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace anchors the space, paired with a sleek leather sofa that invites everyone to sink in and unwind. The kitchen brings serious style with a granite island, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and bar seating for casual bites and morning coffee. A show-stopping live-edge dining table seats eight, setting the stage for family dinners, game nights, and long conversations over good food.
Four bedrooms sleep up to ten, mixing comfort with flexibility for families, couples, and groups. The primary king suite steps right out to the deck and features a TV, ceiling fan, and a spa-style ensuite bath with a soaking tub, tiled shower, and double granite vanities, made for unwinding after an adventurous day. A second king suite also enjoys private deck access, a TV, and a ceiling fan, ideal for a second couple wanting their own retreat. The queen bedroom comes equipped with a TV and fan and shares a full bathroom featuring a tiled tub/shower combo and granite counters. Rounding things out, a playful fourth room brings the fun with a twin-over-twin bunk, a queen sleeper sofa, a TV, and an arcade game, giving kids and kids-at-heart their own hangout zone.
Beyond the front door, Eagle's Nest unlocks a world of amenities built for adventure and relaxation alike. At the Great Camp, dine at the Epic Chophouse, grab a bite at the BBQ Pavilion, or catch a live show at the amphitheater during summer concert season. Spread out on the Great Lawn, let the kids loose at the playground, hit the hiking trails, take on the ropes course, or putt around at mini-golf, and swing by the 24/7 general store for anything forgotten. Over at the North Pavilion, guests can enjoy the Sportsman's Lodge common areas, shoot hoops or rally on the basketball and pickleball court, let furry friends run at the dog park, wander the woodland and walking trails, grab a meal at the Sportsman's Grille, or gather around another community fire pit. At Camp, there's even more to explore with tennis, pickleball, basketball, frisbee golf, and archery. For a relaxed afternoon, the Eagle's Nest Winery welcomes guests with day passes available for $25. Note that the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, and the Wine & Cigar Bar remain reserved for members only.
A few helpful details for planning the stay: this home is not pet-friendly. Eagle's Nest is a thriving, up-and-coming community, so light construction noise is possible between 7am and 7pm, Monday through Saturday. Private ATVs are not permitted on property. Main roads receive plowing in winter, though 4WD or AWD vehicles are required from November through March, and tire chains may be necessary during snow events. All linens and towels are provided for a comfortable, ready-to-relax stay. WiFi is available throughout, though some areas of the mountain may have limited reception. For security, one exterior doorbell-style camera monitors the front entry and parking area, and an Eagle's Nest per-stay amenity fee applies to all reservations.
Streamsong at Eagle's Nest blends brand-new comfort, streamside serenity, and access to one of the High Country's most exciting communities, making it the perfect basecamp for a mountain escape that has something for everyone.
