We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was great, the upstairs bedroom incredible & views to die for. Everything was perfect & we felt at peace in this beautiful place.

Beautiful cottage overlooking Dingle Bay. The house was amazing, exactly as described online. The Sunsets were beautiful. The location is off the beaten track, but great for walking to Kells Beach. We felt right at home and hated to leave.
Gorgeous views and an amazing night sky. The property was wonderful to relax and enjoy the amenities of home. The drive is a bit challenging but well worth the effort.
We travelled with 4 persons,
The house is nice, but there are only 2 simple chairs to sit outside, no sunchairs, no place to relax.
No instruction manuals in the house. No information at all!
How do we get warm water in the shower?
No recommendations where to eat or what’s around.
What do we have to do with the waste? Separation of paper or???
there were 2 bicycles, we were 4 persons… and why are the bikes in the house?
Yhis house near Kells Beach, county Kerry, faces Dingle bay and the mountains of that peninsula. Out the back door are the mountains of the Iveragh Peninsula rising abruptly and covered with grass, heather , and rocks. The interior deserves description. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything works. It was spotless. The house is heated by an oil fueled furnace. We ran the furnace for 2 hours and 15 minutes every morning and that was sufficient. You will note that there is a charge for oil used and electricity consumed. Our stay was for three weeks in May and our total cost was 180 euros, equal to $180. The kitchen is part of a living room with fully functioning TV with excellent choice of satellite channels. There was a great selection of DVD's but we were unable to get the DVD player to work. Internet is a bit slow, 5 mbps, bur mostily sufficient for our needs. Working from home might be problematic. There are two bedrooms downstairs; one with ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom is upstairs. The master bathroom is just across the hall. Both are superb. Both have ceiling windows that open to provide a view of Dingle Bay which I found constantly fascinating. In Ireland the weather changes by the hour and so the Bay does too. A particular highlight of our stay was getting to know some of the people who are permanent residents of Kells Bay. We also enjoyed getting to know the publican at our nearest bar. Maintenance of the yard was perfect and the plantings are lovely. Rhododendron in bloom proliferates. There was a cow pasture right across the road with a couple of young calves. Nearby sheep fields thronged with baby lambs. The best grocery stores are in nearby Cahersiveen. We are already planning our return for a longer period next year. That says it all.
Sehr empfehlenswert, Danke
The house was a welcome home to come back to after our days out exploring south Kerry. It was very spacious and very well equipped. The panoramic views from the front over looking the Dingle peninsula were spectacular. The house was very clean and in excellent condition. It was great having things like dishwasher tablets/ salt and pepper, oils etc available. Lots of little extras like that make a difference.
A great location to be based for day trips all around Kerry.
House was very well appointed and equipped with all modern comforts and kitchen accessories. A splendid and quiet location well off the main roads. Splendid ever-changing views across Dingle Bay, with the whole 40 mile length of the Dingle Peninsula visible on the clear weather days.
Would recommend this house to anyone.
Need very good driving/reversing skills as you on Mountainside… very narrow road, what should take 2 minutes to Beach could take 10 minutes, depending on traffic. It is just stroll as other option. Highly recommend.
Lovely quiet location. Bit disappointed with general state of cleanliness. Lot of dust and cobwebs , had to take Hoover out on first evening. Gas fire didn't work and we tried to put heating on, the fumes filled the kitchen, so basically we had no heating. Sunroom had mould on the walls, and no power sockets. Bed was very comfortable in the main bedroom.
House was clean with plenty of room lovely outside for kids to play and safe Quite location with a fabulous view Surrounds you. Kells beach 5mins away small but nice Plenty to do to keep you busy.
In these times on Social Distancing - I think a “Welcome Pack” would be a good idea as we were not met on arrival or departure from the house. We did speak to the house keeper by phone before our arrival as per our instructions. But we were driving and it’s not easy to catch everything that was mentioned. We are fairly familiar with Kerry but first time foreign visitors would benefit from local knowledge. Just a few suggestions on local pubs or restaurants or attractions would be very handy. Also a simple guide to the Hot Water / Central Heating / Gas Fire / TV & Sat and WiFi systems would be very helpful. Instruction Manuals left in a drawer just doesn’t work well when you’re on holiday. Also some fresh flowers or fruit or scones or something of that nature along with a nice local welcoming note would be a nice and simple touch. Also - I’m not impressed at all by your multiple additional fees. Especially the “Service Charge” for the use of YOUR website. Why should I pay for your website ? I totally understand the extra fee for cleaning up after a pet - but why can’t the regular cleaning fee and the energy costs be included in the advertised daily fee. It just smacks of Hidden Charges to me. There were a few maintenance issues. The iron worked but it had obviously been dropped by someone and the buttons were missing/broken so there was no steam. One or two chipped glasses and a real mixed bag of cutlery and plates. Otherwise - we absolutely love Kerry and we really enjoyed our trip and we would recommend or come back again ourselves to St Anne’s Cottage in Kells. I am a real believer in good old fashioned Customer Services, so I hope this helps. Best regards - Ken, Pearly and Buddy (our Golden Retriever).
Stayed here with my family, house is very comfortable and well equipped. Views of the sea unobstructed ( apart from the rain clouds!!). Location quiet and lovely walk down to a clean and safe beach. Very annoying that Vrbo charge per person, i was charged extra because my daughter's came??? Even though the house had 3 bedrooms and there were only 4 of us staying, would not book with Vrbo again for this reason.
Der Urlaub in Irland hat sich gelohnt, die Unterkunft kann man ohne Probleme weiterempfehlen
