This house and property were perfect for four sisters celebrating a birthday! The views were breathtaking and the house was well appointed and comfortable. Bridie was a warm, accommodating host; she was great at making suggestions on places to eat and explore. We loved it all!
We arrived after dark and were blown away by view ! The house is amazing too. Highly recommend , bring 1euro coins if you go in fall / winter for heat 👍
Bridie's home is nestled in between the mountain and the sea and it is lovely. Just the right amount of drive from town to her home, which feels so secluded. Lovely and peaceful stay!

Tabitha were pleasant guests and are welcome at any stage
Absolutely lovely house. Bridie is an excellent host. Beds extremely comfortable. Everything you needed for Christmas away from home. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend this accommodation
We stayed for 4 days with 7 of our family members, ages ranging from 6 to 60. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for each group to have their own space. The kids loved the donkeys and the beach. The adults enjoyed how close we were to activities. Pat and Bridie were great hosts. The house had everything we needed.
We enjoyed our second stay here, my wife my 90 year old father in law and 2 springet spaniels, this house is an absolute gem, in a great location and the host was so very helpful. We will be back in 2024
We visited during an unexpected January snowstorm. The host was very responsive to many questions regarding our ability to travel from Dublin to Kells. We arrived in the dark and were welcomed in person, welcomed with a warm fire and showed around the property. Waking up the next morning, seeing the majestic views made even more spectacular by the snow was a true treat. I would highly recommend staying here to family and friends.
Lovely house. Bridie great host. Couple of issues (oven and electric shower not working) that when Bridie was contacted they were fixed promptly. Great first holiday with our 1 year old
Wow what a gem! My wife and I enjoy staying in local areas away from the city and tourist destinations. This was a perfect secluded spot, and truly enhanced our experience! The cottage is very clean, updated, and everything is in perfect working order. The owner was very accommodating and communication was wonderful. The kitchen has more than everything you need for preparing meals. This was the perfect spot for our homebase as we toured all of the Ring of Kerry. We were able to avoid big crowds, even on a holiday weekend, and were able to enjoy the local pubs.
The location was a great and convenient to day trips. The house had all the conveniences of home. We enjoyed seeing the donkeys in the morning and we took some pleasant walks around the property and down toward the beach.
I would recommend this as a great location for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the lovely town of Cahirsiveen.
Patrick was a great host and assisted with all of our needs. Thank you Patrick!!
This is a lovely house in a nice quiet location, only a short walk from Kells bay beach and Kells house and gardens. There’s lots of space, is pet friendly, and it has everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Bridie was great to deal with and was very helpful. Remember to bring a supply of one euro coins for the heating and hot water, especially in cold weather, and note that the electricity is payable separately at the end of your stay.
We would definitely recommend. And two paws up from our dog!
We couldn’t believe our luck in finding this gem. The views of the mountains and ocean were breathtaking. We loved the sheep and donkeys nearby too. The night sky, when clouds cleared, was mesmerizing. It is a place where you want to slow down your life.
The small beach is walking distance. The house is large and great for a family with a sunroom that takes in the views. Beds were comfy. Be sure to bring your own water as it is a little brown. It didn’t taste bad—probably due to the peet in the ground. Also have some 1euro coins to feed the heat meter. Energy is expensive in Ireland, so it made sense to keep visitors conserving. They also charged for electricity usage, which we didn’t mind, but would have been good to have known ahead of time.
Great hosts too who made us feel welcome to this peaceful place.

Nice place once we got there
This property is extremely difficult to find after dark, and even during the daylight we were not confident we could find it. It was hard to reach the property owner by messaging through vrbo to get directions, but ultimately decided to call and Had a hard time understanding her. Very lovely people and very nice home, but was not a fit for us. The home is very well taken care of and is stocked with everything imaginable. We did not bring euro coins with us to run the heat system but did fine without heat. Also bring Euro for the power to pay on your last day. Would definitely recommend if you don’t mind the adventure, as these lovely people work hard on their property. Definitely reach out plenty in advance for driving directions.

I am sorry you had such a problem My husband met you and drove to the house before you I send you the postal code I must say in 12 years you and your partner were the only people to have a problem
Best Regards Bridie
The location of this house is somewhat remote which makes it very quiet. You can hear the birds singing in the morning and hear the sheep in the field below. The views are amazing and if you get up early you can watch the sun rise over the sea. in the late hours of the day you can see the most beautiful stars.
We were here at autumn. The house is nice and comfortable and the fireplace heats the house very well. During the storm it was really cosy. Would definitely go here again.
