The “Ostrau” holiday apartment, completed in October 2022, is located in the town of Königstein at our “Sandstein-Ferien” holiday home. Its location makes it an ideal starting point for hikers, cyclists, and rock climbers.

The town of Königstein is situated directly adjacent to the Saxon Switzerland National Park, at the foot of Königstein Fortress, and features a town centre with numerous pubs, charming cafés, and restaurants. Saxon Switzerland offers the Elbe Cycle Route, spectacular via ferrata trails and climbing routes, as well as adventurous hikes through whimsical rock formations.

The 55-square-meter apartment is designed for 2 guests and is located on the ground floor of our holiday home.

VISITOR’S TAX

The city of Königstein charges a visitor’s tax of 3.00 € per person per night. For children between the ages of 7 and 17, as well as apprentices and students up to age 26, the reduced visitor’s tax is 2.50 € per person per day of stay. Children under 7 years of age are exempt from the visitor’s tax. The day of arrival and the day of departure each count as one day. The total amount is to be paid on-site upon arrival, in addition to the booking fees.

In return, you will receive a guest card offering numerous discounts (e.g., free public transport) for the “Saxon Switzerland” region.
