I’m a native New Yorker, but after more than 20 years in Tampa, wild horses couldn’t drag me back up North. Tampa has truly become home, and I’ve never regretted making the move.
What I love about Tampa is that it has the warmth and friendliness of a smaller town, but still offers great restaurants, culture, history, and easy access to some of Florida’s best beaches. It feels much more relaxed and welcoming than cities like New York or Miami.
A fun fact about Tampa is that it has a rich Cuban history, especially in Ybor City, where Cuban cigar factories helped shape the city’s identity. My parents are from Cuba, but I was born in the United States, so I’ve always felt a personal connection to that part of Tampa’s story.
I enjoy making my homes feel clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and I hope guests feel settled and cared for during their stay.

I chose this neighborhood because it has such an easy, friendly, local feel. I love that there are great restaurants, casual hangouts, and neighborhood spots within walking distance.
Just across the street is The Independent, where you can grab a Cuban sandwich, enjoy a beer, and even bring your dog to the outdoor patio area. It’s the kind of place that makes the neighborhood feel relaxed and welcoming.
I also love being close to the park along the Hillsborough River. It’s a great place to jog, walk the dog, sit and read, or simply enjoy being outdoors. The neighborhood has a nice balance of convenience, charm, and a laid-back Tampa feel.

What makes this property special is how cozy and comfortable it feels the moment you walk in. The fireplace, wood floors, natural sunlight, and private backyard give the home a warm, relaxed feeling that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.
It’s also a wonderful place to work remotely. With three rooms, there is plenty of flexibility to create a home office, guest room, reading space, or whatever setup works best for your stay.
The home has a bit of that laid-back, charming feeling that reminds me of Key West — bright, comfortable, easygoing, and full of character.
