Great condo and choice for our needs. If you’re staying late season, Bear Back Poma might not offer the ability for ski in/ski out. But a suitable alternative for the free parking lot/shuttle is an option. We enjoyed our stay and will likely book again for our next trip to Big Sky!
Great condo for a budget group. Awesome location to the poma lift to get to the base village. Walked to the base for dinner as well! Good amenities for a group looking for a convenient place to stay on a budget. Would stay again!

Thank you for your excellent review! That poma lift is a different experience and I am glad you enjoyed it and the condo. We hope to have you back again!

Took us a moment to figure out which unit was ours because we didn't see a unit number in the check in instructions but after that everything was smooth and the place suited us perfectly
Well suited for our family of five (3 adult sons). We enjoyed staying in a one level condo and we able to cook breakfasts and dinners easily - lots of baking pans/sheets and pots. We did not have a car so we walked up the road to the resort or took the poma if we were skiing. We also used Big Sky connect one time when the road was too icy to walk. Great location!
Perfect and affordable stay to ski in and out of the best mountain!
Absolutely loved the property location, kitchen and dining space, and fire place! Will come back again. Toiletries and kitchen amenities all there. Nice having laundry as well
This unit fitted our needs We were able to ski in and out. We were able to travel to Yellowstone and go Snowmobiling. We even went on a Hike

Big Sky Delight
We loved the setting, seeing the open sky, seeing the stars and especially the Milky Way. It was a distance further than we realized and made the best of it. Thank you.
Everything was great although;Shower curtain rod in master bathroom doesn’t stay in place. Seems like a spring is missing.Unless the poma lift is running it’s a bit of a walk to the ski hill. It would be nice to make that more obvious on the listing considering that you don’t see the exact location until after you’ve booked the place.Overall I’d stay there again.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that overall you had a great stay and would consider returning. We appreciate you letting us know about the shower curtain rod in the master bathroom. We will be sure to notify our local team so they can address the missing spring and get that fixed for future guests.
Regarding the walk to the ski hill, thank you for your suggestion about making the distance and location clearer on the listing. We always want our guests to have all the information they need to make the best choice, and your input helps us improve. We look forward to hosting you again.
Excellent in just about every way. Awesome location for skiing. Plenty of space. Responsive management. One note to anyone staying here, the one car garage is tight. Most vehicles will fit, but it’s very tight. We had to move the garbage cans to on top of the wood pile in order for the vehicle to fit. Would definitely stay here again.

Darrell - We are so sorry for the inconvenience the TV caused you during your stay. Unfortunately the mountain location where Bighorn 3 is located is in a rural area that makes it difficult to get Direct TV/cable to make repairs quickly. We appreciate the feedback. The TV has been repaired and is now functioning. - Patrice, Resort Property Management
Comfortable, plenty of room and the pictures were accurate. Kitchen was well-equipped, and it was great to have the entry to store our boots and gear and the garage to store skis.
Communication with the management company was challenging - it took several days to get an answer to each of three messages (one the day before we arrived, one about 2 days in, and one a day or two before leaving), and by the time we got the answers, we’d already had to figure something out ourselves. Fairly minor issues though, so we still had a great ski trip, and we’d stay here again.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We look forward to hosting you for a great stay in the future.
We had a great family trip. The property was in good condition. The three bedrooms housed our family of 6 well for the week. Garage is very small and barely fits the rental minivan we had. Anything larger has to park outside. The home seemed mildly dated in terms of kitchen and bathrooms but had most of what we needed to make some at home meals. I’d advise going to the grocery store in Bozeman before heading to the resort area if you’re cost conscious. Overall the house was a fair value for what got. However Big Sky resort skiing itself was very pricey compared to our past ski trips to Tahoe and Steamboat springs. But that’s nothing to do with this property.

Convenient vacation rental close to lift
The duplex house was extremely convenient. It is a 3 minute walk to a poma lift (although the poma hours were later than we had hoped). Also close to Mountain Village. The unit was a functional 2-BR with dining room, living room and kitchen with large island. Also has a 1 car garage.
Enjoyed our stay very much! Layout of condo was great for our group, beds were comfortable (and I am very picky!), kitchen was well stocked, plenty of bed linens and towels, even detergent pods to wash clothes. Had to buy more toilet paper and paper towels, though.
Location was very close to poma lift! Would stay here again!
