Cozy 1-bedroom house in adorable Honor with refreshing AC

Small guest house right on 31 within walking distance of 3 bars, Lume, BP gas station, Cherry Bowl Drive In, and PRI restaurant, Jim’s Joint and Weldon coffee shop. There is access to the Platte River with fire pit on the property. Only 15 min drive to Frankfort, 7 min to St. Ambrose Cellars, 15 min to Iron Fish Distillery, 25 min to Sleeping Bear dunes, 15 min to Crystal Mountain, 25 minutes to Chums Corners and 35 min to Traverse City. Central air and heat. One queen bed upstairs with a daybed/couch downstairs with trundle twin bed. The bedroom also has dressers and closet space if needed. Kitchen is equipped with dishes for eating and cooking, as wells as an apartment sized refrigerator and stove.Please all smoking done outside and butts placed in the butt receptacle

The cabin was cute, cozy, and perfectly suited our needs. It is decorated nicely and there are tons of beautiful houseplants. The air conditioning was great for our July visit! The listing is accurate in describing it as very close to the busy road and the road is quite noisy. There isn’t really a nice outdoor hangout spot and the bugs near the river will carry you away. That being said, we were there for the beautiful Platte River and the location allowed us to easily kayak three different stretches. There is also a tiki bar on the river that is a 4 minute walk from the cabin. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the river. Remember to bring insect repellent.
