Die Wohnung war schön ,und hat eine gute Lage. Sehr hell und mit Ausblick auf den zentralen Teil von Borkum mit dem Leuchturm. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gästebetreuung vor Ort fand ich in einem Punkt nicht hilfreich: Es ging um die Möglichkeit das Gepäck am Abreisetag noch irgendwo unterzustellen, weil der Zug erst um 1330 Richtung Fähre abfuhr. Auf Nachfrage wurde auf den Ticket-Schalter der Hafenbahn verwiesen, dort kann man aber kein Gepäck unterstellen. Ich verstehe zwar, dass durch den Umbau des Upstalsboom Hotels das Gepäck momentan dort nicht aufbewahrt werden kann, aber man könnte sich ja mal schlau machen und dann etwas empfehlen was funktioniert. Wir haben dann auf eigene Faust bei dem Hotel neben der Baustelle das Upstalsboom Hotels, gefragt und konnten unser Gepäck dort lassen. Vielleicht können sie mit ihrem Mitbewerber ein entsprechendes Arrangement vereinbaren und es zukünftigen Gästen damit leichter machen.

Schönes Objekt mit perfekter Lage

Es war einen große helle Wohnung, gut ausgestattet Besonders war der weiter Blick auf (Pferde-) Wiesen. Zufällig konnte man gar vom Zimmer aus den Sonnenuntergang sehen. Mehr geht nicht.. Wenn wieder Borkum, dann ist diese Wohnung ganz oben auf unserer Wunschliste.
