The 40,000-square-meter natural property consists, on one hand, of an unspoiled area with mowed hiking trails, an eco-meadow, and a mixed-fruit orchard, surrounded by hedges and woods; and, on the other hand, of a park-like guest area with a sunbathing lawn and a garden pavilion. There is therefore plenty of space for both activities and relaxation: a children’s playground with a playhouse, a pygmy goat pen, a small sports field with a football goal, badminton and netball nets with various accessories, a barbecue and fire pit, idyllic access to the nearby beach, and biking and hiking trails offering diverse beach and forest scenery around the Broagerland Peninsula. Benches for relaxing with a view of the sea, a garden, and a private covered terrace with plenty of patio furniture. Excellent swimming opportunities on both lively and secluded beaches. Excellent shopping and very good restaurants in nearby Sønderborg and Flensburg. A wide range of cultural activities on both sides of the border, including: hiking, cycling, horseback riding, fishing, scuba diving, sailing, golf, steamboat cruises, surfing, and much more.
