We stayed for a week, and liked the property very much. Beds were very comfortable, the showers were great. Kitchen well stocked and the deck was pretty cool as well.

The property itself was nice overall and worked well as a place to stay. However, we ran into a few issues during our visit.Communication with the host was frustrating. When we reached out, we often received generic responses from different people rather than clear or consistent help. For example, the dishwasher did not work properly, and this issue was never resolved during our stay.One of the main reasons we chose this rental was the advertised access to the pool and the ability to rent kayaks. Unfortunately, there was no indication that these amenities were seasonal, and they were not available during our stay. It took several days and multiple messages to get a clear response about this. At one point, we were told to scan a QR code to rent equipment, but doing so revealed that rentals wouldn’t be available until Memorial Day—after our trip had already ended.Had we known these amenities would not be available, we would have chosen a different property. Instead, we had to spend extra time finding alternative places to enjoy the water. Despite these issues and the inconvenience they caused, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered.Overall, our concerns are more with the vacation rental company and communication than with the house itself. One additional note: the TV is quite small—smaller than what you’d typically find in a hotel—which made it difficult for four of us to comfortably use our Nintendo Switch.

Quiet and near the lake

Spent 10 days in this home. It was very nice. Neighbors were friendly. It's very quiet especially at night. Very close to Maggie Valley and the town of Waynesville. It was clean and a big plus for me was it did not smell of laundry detergent or cleaning products. Just nice and fresh! Would definitely stay there again!
