Our stay at this property was fantastic! It was the perfect place for a medium-sized family getaway. The location struck the ideal balance—it was far enough from the city lights to enjoy incredible stargazing at night, yet close enough to all the fun. The drive to Port Aransas was only about 30 minutes, and even with impatient kids in the car, the trip went by so quickly they barely noticed.The house itself was absolutely gorgeous—beautifully designed, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. As a police officer, security is always something I pay close attention to, and I really appreciated the auto-locking doors. It completely eliminated any worry about whether the house was secure, allowing us to fully enjoy our vacation.One helpful tip for future guests: Rockport tends to quiet down around 11 p.m., so if you think you’ll need groceries or any last-minute essentials, be sure to make a store run before then to avoid any inconvenience.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with convenient access to Port Aransas.
